You need to stop with this stuff dan. The Brisbane game where he gave that 50m penalty was completely irrelevant - once he got caught HTB the game was over, they could burn 30 seconds having a shot and we still had to score twice in under a minute to win the game.

I'm just stating my opinion on his brain fade against GWS and the poor decision to kick 10m to Viney with the game on the line. Regarding the Brisbane brain fade, he made 4 mistakes in 10 seconds. Firstly, he just dropped the ball on the ground instead of handballing it or attempting to handball it, then he tries to deliberately hit it over the boundary, then he risks umpire dissent, then he doesn't give the ball back in time because he's looking up at the scoreboard. The lack of footy iQ of Lever was summed up in this moment and it happens most weeks. Would it have made a difference? highly unlikely as you say, it would've required 2 goals in a minute (assuming they missed from the boundary) but clearly Jake didn't think the game was over hence getting so worked up so it's irrelevant that the game was most likely over because it provided a snapshot of his game sense.

Great player obviously but has some very poor moments.

I also thought he was very good against GWS. A player can still have a great game overall and have a few horrible blunders. And the 10m kick to Viney was a big one. And the yelling 'touched' to all the field umpires is just a small personal gripe because you wouldn't see most players do this, for obvious reasons.

Anyway, just my opinion.
