Hey guys, new to the board here and just seeking an opinion on:
Merrett, McCluggage and Anderson
versus
Dunkley, Lyons and T. Brown?
Anderson is arguably one of the few MID rookies (alongside Rowell, Pickett) with rock solid JS, although his Marsh PPM wasn't amazing.
However, T. Brown (whom the Pies seem to rate internally) would allow me to get Dunkley and Lyons who seem to have arguably more proven scoring potential and durability.
Would love some thoughts - cheers in advance!
Cheers! Definitely have been considering Steele too with the allure of less tagger time under Ratten (plus his durability), although by his own words he isn't immune from run-with roles if the need arises. Considerable upside though.Dunkley + Steele + Brown I reckon

Saints want to be the ones in control, says Steele
St Kilda aren’t looking to become the AFL’s autocrats per se, but according to midfielder Jack Steele, the Saints want to start becoming “the dictators.”www.theage.com.au
What value did you see in Lynch. What us different about him this year compared to last season?Tom Lynch.. What a “value” pick, delete my team before the lockout. FMD
I’m not advocating for picking him but last year he came off zero preseason and tigers had a raft of injuries in the first half of the season. Came home with a bang post bye when tigers played every game at home for about 16 months straight.... anyway, this year has had a full preseason and the tigers have their full squad playing and they play 8 of the first 11 or something at the G. Personally he’s more a SuperCoach player for mineWhat value did you see in Lynch. What us different about him this year compared to last season?
You only have yourself to blame these. Why would you pick Tom Lynch? Never, ever a good idea to go with a KPFTom Lynch.. What a “value” pick, delete my team before the lockout. FMD
AFL app has them.AFL website it seems has not printed the emergencies list for each team (R1 Horses Ass Nom.)...anyone know where i can get those?
Edit: can see them on the fantasy page when you list select emegencies or uncertain...but i wanted to see them in order on the team sheet like the good ole days
I'm content with leaving him out.I'm considering leaving Grundy out just so I am guaranteed to have something to vent about tonight once it's imminent that he will go for at least 140 after a first quarter score of 50.
Pretty much this.. i could easily have envisaged 75-80 avg.I’m not advocating for picking him but last year he came off zero preseason and tigers had a raft of injuries in the first half of the season. No KPP's is too simplistic IMO.. there was def. value there and he's shown a reasonably fantasy friendly game in the past in a sh*thouse team. Not that Richmond generally rack up points, but priced at just above 60 i was happy to take the short term gamble. You only have yourself to blame these. Why would you pick Tom Lynch? Never, ever a good idea to go with a KPF
was just going to query that too... I'm going to roll the dice on a Grundy masterclass!Might have missed it, but are people taking Doch's 95 as a captain score? If it's a straight line comparison to normal games, that's only about 118.

Coniglio here.Yeah that's where I'm leaning too.
Coniglio here.
Tonight I'll watch my other options in Macrae & Dunkley run riot with 115 (the new 150 maybe)
Taking Doch as vc would be deliberately chasing a red dot. Nothing but a freak score is worth that in round 1 when green dots are for everyone, even if the likes of Young/Ash selections are imminent. They could be 6 weeks away.
Maybe you could still pick Treloar who's close to returning but that's too much money on the bench.
No VC loop here. (Even though I put the VC on Doch)
With limited time to upgrade this year, starting with as many "final team" players should be the aim.
For mine Grundy is still a must have.
Also for refference
2020 Rich/Carl Total points = 2346
2019 Rich/Carl Total points = 3120
20% gametime but 25% less points
