Nice, Who has everyone got playing today? Just Polec for me.
simpson, polec and thomas for me. Hampson and McVeigh (82,83) have been my lowest scores so far.
Some mids I was considering have smashed it. Treloar, Prestia, Cotchin etc. I ended up going with Rocky and Libba, hope they do alright next week.

I've got Thomas and Lobbe today. Swapped Lobbe in for Hampson with some spare cash I had from downgrading my rookies and getting rid of dangerfield for the free hit.

Got Lobbe playing today with Polec on my bench. Will be paying close attention to how Mick uses Daisy
Picked Westhoff for round 1 with the faint hope of something ridiculous like last year's start. Done a bit poorly so far, 1204 from 11+C. Brandon Ellis 
Does anyone know if it's a 3-round rolling average this year or is it now a 2-round rolling average? Because prices change after round 2 now, when there haven't been 3 games
Might be a good move to start Coniglio next round, then trade him to O'Keefe (who will surely be in their best 22!) after one or two games, an easy 60k made there. Or something similar, you get my gist.

Never played this game but with unlimited trades I presume next week can I play any non playing rookie to get Langdons score then not have to burn a trade getting rid if that rookie?

You can probably do it now.
I traded Luke McDonald (on my field) for Ciaran Byrne (we know he didn't play) so I'll get Langdon's 105.
Gave me some extra cash as well - used it to upgrade a midfielder to Scooter Selwood (just for the free hit, probably won't 'start' with him)
I had McDonough and Rohan on my bench, after trading out Menzel due to not knowing if he would be sub. Stupid stupid stupid.
Also had Charlie Dixon due to his dp status. I think he just posted his lowest score ever.

I think it is neither, my understanding is they take into account a longer stretch of games, and give the highest weighting to the most recent games. So for R2 price changes, scores for R2 would count for more than scores in R1.

Is my thinking right in starting Polec on the bench as an emergency? That way, if he does well I can temporarily trade out one of my on field rookies who is playing to someone that isn't?
Kind of hate this kind of thing with rolling lockouts. Thankfully it's not every week. Way too much hassle trying to loophole captains and such every time.

Polec, Walker and Kreuzer today for me (with Impey on the forward bench)
I've been traveling and missed editing my team / joining leagues over last week! Luckily they guys I had are doing good (Ablett C, Langndon Emg, Cotch, Martin, Beams, Parker...) unfortunately I had Rohan on the field (would have had him as Emg). Oh well, only a small set back, could have been really bad if there were late withdrawls/vests.
Luckily should be stopping just in time for next weekend.
