2026 with just Williams left.

Good: Switching out Gawn for Witts last minute
Steele got 108
Crouch x2
Not putting the C on Oliver
Rookies very solid overall. Good ones on the field, bad ones on the bench

Okay: C on Brayshaw
Heeney and Witherden a tad underwhelming

Bad: Oliver
Switching out Sheed late

This mid price strategy in defence isn't looking too good at the moment.
Yeah should have just paid up for Lloyd...who I had for the majority of preseason. I was naive in thinking Williams and Smith could be keepers, only one will probably sneak in as D6. Will definitely look to downgrade one of them in the coming weeks to bring in some actual premos

1951 with a half from captain Cogs and Williams to go. Pretty happy with myself considering it's my second season. Could have done much better without Gawn and if I had of got someone like Worpel instead of trying to pick a POD in Darling. Ended up picking all the good rookies on the ground.

Agree. Newman is the only one that's truly come off so far. The rest have been a bit underwhelming... B.Smith was a pass mark *just*. Williams 32 at half time is less than I was hoping for but I suppose it's not terrible for someone priced in the 50s. Hoping Ridley can get some cheap +6s in the second half but he'll face easier games than this in the next few weeks so as long as he does enough to hold his spot and make some money I'm ok with him for now.

Trades basically set for next week, Dunkley/ brayshaw and burgess/gibbons for rockliff and Parker.

Might be a bit reactionary on bray and Dunkley but I need to get rocky in.

Keep going cogs and taranto!

I went with 4. Perryman, Ridley, Smith and Williams. The 2 'premiums' I were keen on were Witherden and Crisp didn't do all that well themselves so I'm remaining positive. Another reason why I did it was because I didn't rate the scoring potential of blokes like Clark, Rozee and Collins.

1959 with the same two left....

True. Whitfield very quiet in the first half too. Lloyd and Laird are the only vanilla premo picks that have tonned up in the backline so far and even Laird went slightly under what he's priced at.
