MASSIVE scores from the Carlton players. Surely has to be close to one of the highest team scores?

Myself, I had Carrots, Martin and Robinson. Robinson didn't have many touches but 9 tackles was a brilliant effort and resulted in a good score relative to price.

Little bit of regret not getting Betts after I ummed and ahhed with him for most the pre-season. I like how much ball went through him tonight.
In saying that, I doubt he'll get a player as poor as Edwards for the rest of the season so I'm not sure how much can be taken from it.

And just on that, Shane Edwards is ****ing pathetic, I'd genuinely play King before him and that is saying something.

Agree on Edwards. Some of his efforts tonight were extremely soft. Especially a mark running back with the flight in the backline where you could see him squinge at the sight of contact. Atleast King goes full bore at it...

Waite in the FWDs...

But didn't start Warnock. Don't have Martin... went with a midfield priced way out of sanity. And picked Trengrove over him... we shall see if that was wise.

Will say this about Nason (in my squad on bench) - Robert Walls was right about him and his hair... better be able to play. Although not a very compelling case though for mine first up for the answer to that question to be a positive - looked a little out of his depth for mine (even for a 1st gamer).

I actually enjoyed the footy tonight... although that could be because A. my DT guys fired and B. there's nothing better than some live footy on a Thursday night.

Yeah he is a skirt, best example of it was when Robinson (?) had his head down in a head lock and the prick tries to shirt front him.

Worst skills you'll see as well, bloke can't hit a handball target let alone a kick.

In fairness, I had NFI why Hardwick was playing him down there. He has always struck me as an unaccountable accumulator, sort of threw him to the dogs on the last line against Betts.
