I can't see us leaving our best lock down sitting on the bench when the game is at its fastest and most frenetic.

In reality north struggled into the 8th spot last season with with a terrible percentage of 106%, in reality they're only going to get worse considering the age profile of their list.

Mate it's always hard to get a read on round 1 especially this year with the interchange cap variable

If this game was at home I would have us as definite favourites however playing at ES does place North as favourites however with that said I do think we have picked a fast track side

If Sauce can keep Goldy under control then I think we can get up by couple of goals

I was referring to players like Harvey and Dal Santo, but then again Thompson isn't the best defensive runner either. Team defense is something we have been working on over the summer so we will see what happens.

I would have more confidence in your team running defensively better than my team at the moment. It's not effort, it's just we were carrying too many inside midfielders, it's why the dogs go well against us, hopefully Higgins, Dal, Wells and Anderson can help with the spread.

Think we can do ok over there and am very confident we will give a good account of ourselves. Quietly confident of sneaking over the line.

This is why we haven't selected Lyons I'm pretty sure. Our midfield is treacle slow and pig lazy defensively with Thommo, Mrouch and Lyons all together. He's probably destined to be Thommo cover until the latter retires

That's pretty well how I see it. I'm not sure that we wouldn't have made a prelim if we'd gotten Sydney given their lead in.
