What on earth is with all the Mansell hate? The kid hasn’t even been given a run in his new role and being whipped by you lot already? I recall him being quite well liked when he first started playing games as a small defender, what has changed? Gives his all for the jumper, his selection is based on his willingness to play a selfless role.

Yeah I haven't questioned the Mansell inclusion FWIW. I can see why he has been selected and understand it.

He might work hard, I don't dispute that, but to improve we need to go past just hard workers...

For all his hard work, he still has brain explosions, has horrific turnovers (after his hard work) which generally cost us a score or helps concede one, and whilst he plays his role in the structure, he little impact on the game. The "he's strong in the air" myth has been proven incorrect, so what else does he bring?

And based on form, Kmac was TERRIBLE against Melb, his hard running did absolutely nothing for us against Melb's mids.

I'll take Shorts Best and Worst over Kmacs Best and Worst... and Kmac isn't getting better, so I would happily replace him to give a kid an opportunity

I'm getting Stack/Higgins vibes from the Cumberland omission? if you can't adapt or refuse to adapt to a multipositional, defensive selfless role in that small fwd/def position in a Damien Hardwick team you aint getting a game.

Will be a good game. I’d say Geelong/Collingwood will be good. Suns/Swans has the potential to be a good game. Hopefully our game is shit (our way)
