5. Kreuzer. Contested work, 1%ers, gut running.
4. Carrazzo. Kept us in touch, kept Cotchin out of touch!
3. Yarran. Pretty solid defensive work, game breaker, electrifying.
2. Gibbs. 10 marks! The vision he has is amazing.
1. Bower. Welcome back Emu!

Rookie: Curnow. Kept running all day, got better as the game went on, brilliant Q4.

My votes were all over the shop in there.

For here:

5. Murphy
4. Yarran
3. Kreuzer
2. Carrazzo
1. Simpson

1. Matty K - inspirational as always and just never stopped.
2. Bryce - Went about it with endeavour and aplomb, I can barely remember any errors.
3. Carrazzo - but for too many skill errors could have been higher, was instrumental in stopping Cotchin mostly by gathering his own touches.
4. Dennis - Ran to create, ran out of congested situations, ran to support, ran into open goals, ran to shepherd ... simply didn't stop running from start to finish.
5. Marc - was quiet early but still worked hard, reward came in the second half.

Apologies to most others, but chief among them: Henderson, Simpson, Bower, Laidler, Yarran (mmm, mostly backmen ... wish I could have given one of them votes although Armfield did a lot of his best work down back)

BYP: Ed ... welcome back.
