North's jumper looks like this year's version of Carlton's from last year. Can barely notice it in play.

Gotta say the Swans jumper looks really nice with that slightly darker red due to the pattern.
then Mero can have a shorts section on footyjumpers.com too! (and won't he love that?)Am I the only one thinking the sides should've put the artwork on their shorts as well as the jumpers? Only noticing it now.
I like how the pattern on the North jumper makes the blue look darker.
The Swans jumper has a white stroke that separates the red and the white parts of the jumper
And the Reognise 'R' logo features on North's shorts, but Sydney don't have the logo on their shorts.
Swans/North and Suns/Eagles (with both away teams in full royal) are for mine the best matchups league-wide. Somehow the common colour in each of these matchups adds to the aesthetics without detracting from the contrast.Awesome match up this, better than Suns v Eagles I reckon.
On second thought, close ups on Goldstein show that the design looks a bit like sweat marks over the pecs.Yeah, should have been made a bit more visible, I've been worried about it since i first saw the players actually wearing it.
Shame, because it's actually a pretty cool design.
Certainly in the case of north v Sydney the white just acts as a base for the design, without really lightening the jumper as much as black would darken itSwans/North and Suns/Eagles (with both away teams in full royal) are for mine the best matchups league-wide. i.e if you replaced the white with black on their jumpers, it'd be a clash. The White seems to almost remove a clash if anything, making the matchup awesome. I'm reading far too much into itQue?
You're doing my head in Harry (along with the wine!), but I think I get what you're saying: if the white were black on both jumpers there would be less contrast & therefore they would clash.i.e if you replaced the white with black on their jumpers, it'd be a clash. Basically yeah I have a tendency to do that. You're doing my head in Harry (along with the wine!), but I think I get what you're saying: if the white were black on both jumpers there would be less contrast & therefore they would clash.
"Can't even be bothered"? They both have an Indigenous Round jumper that is now recognisable as that due to its repeated use. If they want to make that jumper/design a small part of their branding/image instead of doing a new one every year, why not?!Some nice jumpers this year. Shame the two WA clubs cant even be bothered. Ours is rubbish. Would love a wings version of the indigenous jumper.
I will pay Freo's. I think ours (besides the main colour being yellow), is lip service. i hear what you are saying, but indigenous round is a once off and should be an opportunity each year for a new design giving a new artist a crack. Seems like our two clubs have just settled because it is easier. Gotta remember, WC don't have to do any work for members. We have a 15k waiting list lel, easiest job in the world."Can't even be bothered"? They both have an Indigenous Round jumper that is now recognisable as that due to its repeated use.
