In some ways that wasnt a bad quarter. We dominated for periods there. Ah Chee provided some real spark playing Rayner's role. Some of the midfield (Berry and co) finally started running. Oscar was pretty dominant in the ruck. Harris was huge and actually think Payne settled.

But then the bad. The goal kicking is a serious problem. I know they are often shots from the pocket but it clearly will cost us more games. Once we lose confidence it just becomes a major issue. I didnt expect to win this game but a game like this in finals will be a serious problem

I dont like picking on kids but I dont think Skinner is worth persevering with. The knees have clearly take all his pace. Just not up to this level.

He knows how to forward press that's for sure. With Rich and Lester likely back and us needing a replacement for Rayner - it seems like the perfect chance to test him up forward to make sure we want him as a HBF instead.

Certainly worth giving him a look up forward with Rayner out but I think he has been solid back and forward tonight and is showing why we were keen to recruit him.
