Just some silly decisions cost us the game, Weddle just neeeded to pressure on the wing & the game was over, chooses to push.

Meeks tap at the last centre bounce was straight to the port player, should've tapped it other side and keep it in tight.

Plenty to learn from for a young group but can't take away from the positives in the first three quarters.

Future is very bright

Meek should have just grabbed it and absorbed the pressure. They allow that these days

CJ went OK in his first game for a long time, Calsher should have kicked a couple more, Ethan Phillips did not look out of place.

First time I have been hurt watching a game of AFL since the 2016 SF.

Would think the result would’ve been different with Scrimshaw and Sicily there today.

Inexperienced side lost some
legs in the last - coaches went too defensive - sub added nothing.. outside of that taking into Account where we are as a team and list not a bad game at all. Day was huge Mackenzie’s best game and Hardwick killed it

Sadly not even the worst concede 2 goals in the last minute loss against Port. The one in 2007 was somehow even worse than that

Hurts to concede two freaky goals in last 30 seconds, but in reality it was clear from around the 20 min mark we were in serioualy deep shit. Hardwick actually did really well in defence, but the fact we're even putting him back there after slotting 5 goals is indicative of our mindset.
Undoubtedly one of the worst losses you can ever imagine but at least finals aren't on the line.

Am I the only one that’s positive about that game? So many good things were on display out there. The win is nothing but the fact that we got in that position is really promising and exciting. I see development across the board and the W column doesn’t mean much to me in 2024. You could even argue we want to finish bottom 4 to cash in on another draft. It was a really great game and I’m as excited about the team as I have been in a long long time. Had that ball missed and we won by 4pts I’m not sure I would feel any different about the game.

This game alone shows how far this young group has come in 12 months.

4 weeks ago, people were saying we were going to be cellar dwellers for years.

The performances across the last few weeks show this group will be storming up the ladder before long.

We play Marvel much better and won't have fumbling to deal with. Should win with the effort shown in the first 1.5 quarters

Can’t bring myself to be annoyed about that. Did a lot of stuff right but made some mistakes under pressure at a critical time. Stew on it for the night and move on.
