Midfield pressure is Woeful, they can't get near the opponents much less the ball

We are getting smashed at the stoppages, Freo have free players midfield when Jackson win the ball.
Where the hell is our zone, 50 metres of free space between the turnover and our first defender that last goal.
Defensive structure completely breaking down.
We are refusing to run back in defence.
We destroy players. NAZ, Pou, Windy, have gone backwards, Wilson and Collard unsighted.
This year is more disappointing than 2021 when we went backwards.

They have he has just out of form, needed a string of games in the VFL. I gather if he and Collard can hit the score board in the 2nd half all will be forgotten.

Basically, Owens is doing his job as a forward, but nobody else is, though Paton has two goal assists. Steele not running very hard- maybe knee issue? Just too many passengers not chasing hard enough or doing enough off the ball. Can't really see many Saints winning their positions. Pou looks lost and is getting bumped off the contest too easy, probably need Jones on as tactical sub. Need Battle at CHF and Sharman down back. Windy tries hard, but just can't get good control of the ball in contests, Wood has gone missing. Time to get the players to play man on man footy.

They are killing us on the outside. We have too many going inside and leaving Freo alone on the outside.
Windy has been our best midfielder. Need a lot more from Steele, Dow and Hill.
