I know they aren't live... the results on fanfooty update in pretty much 1 minute after it happens. If a player goes up +3 dt and you watched him kick it to an opponent directly resulting in a goal and his sc goes down 8 pts its quite obvious.. it's not rocket science.

Also, Footy live app is worthwhile using, it is the most live and up to date and directly fed into fanfooty and also the exact data CD use as well.

Could you provide me with a score changing 5 minutes later? In my 10 years of playing supercoach, WATCHING matches and following scores along on fanfooty i have never seen sc scores take 5 minutes to update unless the server is broken.. It's 1 minute max.

As i said..... next time you see a player make an absolute howler that results in an opposition goal (IN WHICH HE HAS NO MORE TOUCHES OR IS ANYWHERE NEAR THE BALL FOR THE FOLLOWING 1-2 (MAX) MINUTES) check his sc score and let me know what happens because i can guarntee you over the many years of watching it's never just as arbitrary as -4 -4 -4 -4.

You don't need a link for everything, it's common sense if you actually follow it all properly over just having some data base of scores you think can be applied exactly to every contest.

Were you even aware a dropped chest mark is classified as a clanger in scoring?

Sometimes I wonder why i even post on the supercoach thread of bigfooty when you have so much more knowledge and awareness of how it all works on supercoachscores.com.au

I know you're a mod but it would be worthwhile you sticking your neck over there and reading through a few posts to update your awareness of football and how supercoach scoring works in the context of actually watching the match and seeing the scores change constantly as a result of certain actions occurring based on the context of the game.

And have a read through the comments etc. The users over there are a lot more knowledgeable which generally ties in well with how high a heap of people are ranked over there, along with the fact there are barely any people who have super limited knowledge on supercoach.

People come to each site for different reasons.

I usually just stick here for the entertainment with a mild footy flavour.

If I have a serious sc debacle I tend to check out the other place you mentioned aswell. As do many others.

(I’m in leagues from both - one is the 14th ranked league and one is ranked 2000+)

There’s obviously a selection bias as big footy is all encompassing and whereas scs is purely for SuperCoach.


Each have their pros and cons - just got to appreciate each for what they are.

CD replay footage as needed to ensure they disentangle who did what to whom in fast passages of play. There is no practical way, nor need to do this, in real time (other than satisfying the most impatient of us footy nerds) for the whole match. Hence the very frequent observation of players scores continuing to go up and down after being sidelined for the match with injury.

Is there anyone you forgot to personally slag ? ..........accepting all that you've said about "live" scoring, how does it in anyway affect your team selection, trading, or performance ? .....it doesn't !

And i think you'll find we have many contributors that are very highly ranked ......it appears to me you were looking to lash out at everyone, in response to a post .......don't be so sensitive
