My mistake on clearances, it's the fact that its assumed points with a gather being 1.5 etc.
It's quite obvious when looking at it, along with Meters gained, although they don't directly score points, having more of them directly impacts a player score based on the attached actions that go with it.

I've provided the link to Fanfooty there for you to see your mistake of 1 to 7 clangers (figures that appear just pulled from thin air?)

Any comment on why a players score can be impacted 0 for a "clanger" i.e. free kick against or -10 or worse for a direct clanger to an opponent resulting in a goal or are you simply a -4 numbers man without actually seeing the sc scores impacted by a result of the actions rather than arbitrary numbers (which is what Dreamteam is for).

Also, I don't want to be THAT guy...but you do realise that free kicks against are included in the clanger count, along with dropped chest marks.. Macrae had 3 clangers from possessions and McLean had 4 from possessions and 2 from free kicks against, of which 3 of McLean's were in the first quarter whilst being on 28dt 25sc.

Cmon! She’s aiiiiiight!

Yeah was looking at CL which is clearances not clangers.

In ten years of playing this game I’ve never heard of 0 point clangers or -10 clangers, but I’m happy to read any link you send my way. More info we have in our info thread the better.

Nah it isn't directly the numbers but when watching the scores directly and the movement between either the SC website or the Fanfooty page a heap of the time a free against results in 0 or -1 (usually if the player is caught holding the ball in a contested situation) which adds a 1 free kick against to their name along with a clanger. Or you see say a defender kick straight out to an opponent and receive -8 or -10 or something to his score and also will receive the kermit symbol (clanger) on their name on fanfooty.

Next time you watch a game and you see a bloke make an absolute howler that results in the opposition getting a goal check what their sc updates to, it is useful information.

So no link? Info thread has been collated over the years from info Champion_Data have been good enough to give us.

Live scores aren’t live. They’re at least 3-4 minutes delayed. Quite often points come in in clumps for possessions. Plenty of examples where player gets two or three possies and scores don’t change then five minutes later they go up by 20. There’s also continuous scaling to factor in the time of the game and how it relates to the result.
