Can’t be just picking a kid because it’s indigenous round. He’s either earned a spot through performance or not.
Without knowing his formline in the VFL, I doubt he can be much worse than some of the players we’ve got in atm.

He’s played 1 game in the last 4 weeks and hardly touched the ball in it. He needs a stretch of 6-7 weeks of consistent footy at vfl level to work on his game. His development has already been messed around enough this year.

Fair enough.

He's basically the only available small forward and may well come in so Hobbs/Perkins can take Caldwell's midfield minutes (there are also some forward minutes from Caldwell). Depends how he went in the practice game last weekend and where he's at coming off an ankle injury.

Alternatives are dividing the midfield time between Shiel, Merrett, Parish, McGrath, with Ham or Waterman forward (in the case of McGrath, perhaps Lord gets a chance at half-back).

Put shiel in the forward pocket if they ain’t going to drop him because of Caldwell. Lord would be thrown to wolves if he stepped on an afl field, see what happened to Bergman at north.

Everyone of those players that dished up that tripe on Saturday night should be made to stay in the side and rectify it. Men redeem their failures! See who wants to front up, scrap and fight tooth and nail to win back some respect!

That’s my thinking as well. They were the ones that have got themselves in this hole so they can dig themselves out. Dropping Shiel, Merrett, or Draper won’t solve anything. I don’t even care that we should lose this week, just winning the tackle count would be enough.

Agree on Ryder but can’t blame him for looking after himself and his family when the saga went down. Also agree Nank could wreak havoc - I’d be inclined to bring in Phillips for Bryan, and give Wanga a run for Dreamtime

OUT: Bryan, Francis, Caldwell, Cutler (SUB)
IN: Phillips, Cox, Wanga, Waterman

Team;-

Laverde Reid Kelly
Redman Ridley Hind
Durham Hobbs Merrett
Martin Cox Guelfi
Waterman 2MP Wanga

Draper Parish McGrath

Bench: Shiel Perkins Heppell Phillips
SUB: Cutler

Seems like he is out for the year.

Can guarantee we will come out with some false bravado.
I'm going to go with Draper trying to do something at the centre bounce, probably give away a dumb free kick and will piss off the tigers who will kick a goal and then their players will apply some real physical heat and we will crumble.
Dusty and Lynch will end the game as a contest in a 15min burst.
Bolton will kick 3 and win the best on.

Heppell being one of the few directing others to where they should be needs to remain, even if he's too slow at times. I do think he should be put somewhere not in the way of Francis in the backline though.

OUT: Shiel, Parish, Merrett
IN: Hird, McDonagh, Stewart, (Waterman)

Not even that concerned about balance, but something like Francis going back, Heppell goes to middle even though it's not ideal, Stewart forward and whoever wherever.

The basic idea with these changes is standards set with the outs, some fit enough and seasoned bodies coming in.

This is.....

It's......

It's going to hurt, I'm not gonna lie, it's really going to hurt. Richmond look like they're about to hit top gear again with Dusty getting back to peak fitness and we're....us.

Like our games against Melbourne and Brisbane, I expect the worst while hoping for the best.

After last year's Dreamtime game I thought to myself- I can't wait till we play these campaigners again. I was certain that the next time we played them we would finally get these pricks. But our regression is so far back now we do not stand a chance.
What a disappointment!
We have not really been that great either to be honest

Beaten by the crow's bashed up on a Wafl side then under manned pies and a vfl grade midfield of the hawks , Im expecting a shocker soon with our eratic season so far and we have Balta/Pickett (who have been 2 of our more consistent players this year.

I would take a 1 point win

Might need to go send some coronavirus patients down to Punt Rd training.

You're about to be 100x times happier than you thought then
