Trades Round 10 trades

Lucky enough to have a bit of money in the kitty. So I’m currently going with:

Angus Brayshaw -> Jackson Macrae
Zac Williams -> Brandon Ellis

I simply cannot bring myself to keeping Brayshaw, he’s dropped 112k in the last three weeks and is now coming up against the Giants with a breakeven of 138. Pretty stoked to be able to bring in Jackson Macrae, I’m still very confident he’ll be a top with midfielder and he’s currently quite well priced.

I’m worried Williams will be out for more than a week and he’s done his job so I’ll move him on. Ellis is quite a POD but he’s a genuine winger this season and is back full of confidence. Hardwick even singled him out making comment on Ellis proving him wrong and acknowledging how good he’s been. There’s obvious risk involved but I’m not trading a mid pricer to him and he’s got a nice round 14 bye I’m happy to ride him until then and reassess at the bye.

I’ll keep Danger for the round, should be back next week and there’s no good options to trade him too. As a result I’ll be fielding both Balta and Parker which is a worry but I’m getting more confident in Balta and Parker plays Carlton.

If Setterfield is out I’ll have to play Oskar Baker which I’m not as confident about and may make me rethink my trades.

Why do most think Broadbent's JS isn't great? Was injured, came back after a couple of games in the SANFL and has performed well so far. Feel like there would be plenty of others dropped before him (Lienert, Butters, Farrell, Amon)...

Alright rank 1026 so risk time using some dpp

Williams and Danger out

Ziebell and Macrae in

Allows me to bring in the gun Macrae. Hopefully Ziebell rides his 155 for a couple of weeks and does enough to make 50k by his bye. which is conveniently the week after Dangers. Also hoping Danger drops in price and doesn't do a Whitfield upon return. What could possibly go wrong?

Leaves my backline very weak playing Rozee, Lockhart and Hore which sux and Corbett in the forwards.
but I have Walsh M8 and Drew 405k and Gibbons 380k but dropping on the bench as money for future trades.

I can cope with that.

His stats don't reflect his actual output. We have better young players in the SANFL. I'm confident in saying he is warming Hartletts spot.

Hate this Friday night wait for Sunday teams. Should change to final teams out by lunch time.

I’m on a 5:30pm international flight. If I’m lucky, I might get 10 mins to finish my trades before I have to turn the phone off...

Team as stands after trades:

Whitfield, Lloyd, Smith, Guthrie, Hore, Stack (Answerth, Burgess)
Yeo, Rocky, Brouch, Dunkley, A Spudshaw, Worpel, Walsh, Newnes (Hayes, Baker)
Grundy Gawn (Smith, Cameron)
Boak, Kelly, Dusty, Heeny, Balta, Larkey (Danger, Petrol)

Yes I know I've held spudshaw and newnes however, it was either I trade them to two premium forwards or the likes of Constable and Drew and I obviously went for the latter can someone re assure me this was the correct decision?

I went Constable > Yeo
Drew > Dusty

Lloyd, Laird, Sicily, Williams, Smith, Hore (Collins, Answerth)
Gaff, Treloar, Taranto, Cripps, Rockliff, B.Crouch, Walsh, Stack (Hayes, Atley)
Grundy, Gawn (Fort, Flynn)
Boak, Kelly, Dangerfield, Worpel, Baker, Petrecculle (Drew, Corbet)

That's my current team before trades. Not sure what the hell to do this week, quite a few options. Most likely Williams and Drew will go for me. Playing around with a few options at the moment -

(1)
Drew -> Young
Williams -> Whitfield
11k in Bank

(2)
Drew -> Zieball
Williams -> Perryman
32k in Bank

(3)
Drew -> Young
Williams -> Ellis
186k in Bank

Honestly I'm not sure what I should be doing, those are just a few options I was looking at. There is plenty that can be done. Happy to hold Danger for a week, Williams will need to go. Got Collins, Hayes and Drew that can all go to bring in some cash.

Having paid $890k for Crae, I can tell you he's no gun. I'd much rather have paid $100k less for Cripps/Treloar/Cogs at the start of the year!
