Any reasons why you whores sell games to the NT?

By rights this should have been a rare game at the MCG I'd be able to attend

Probably coz we aren't from a passant state that can only support two teams.

That literally makes no sense

It would have been good to get a first hand look at our SANFL side play in Melbourne but I guess you guys gotta pay your bills somehow

But it does. We could fill "boutique" mini stadiums with 40K and have a zillion members if our only competition in Victoria was St.Kilda.

LOL.. honestly, how many of your best 22 will be missing?

Could hardly say its your SANFL side that will be lining up.. Crouch, Millera, Brown all expected to return.

This is a very interesting game to be honest. I think that the Crows at full strength playing their best is the best the AFL has at the moment. We are severely undermanned. Melbourne have put together a good month of footy and are on the rise with Viney back.
For me this is a battle of the Bulls, Oliver, Viney and Jones vs Greenwood, CEY and Gibbs. CEY and Greenwood are still early in their career but haven't really shirked a contest yet. Gawn will monster Sauce I think meaning that your guys get first look. Hard to back the Crows in. But I'm gonna. I think that we have the mental edge over you when playing in the NT.

I wouldn't bank on them suiting up and will wait until I see em on the ground before I believe it

Off the top of my head; no

Sloane
B Crouch
M Crouch
Walker
McGovern
Smith
Milera
Knight
Brown

That's almost half our best 22

This has become a game I think Melbourne should win. It is a bonus for Melbourne that they take Adelaide on with so many missing players. As the Dee's have started putting lesser teams to the sword (just like a real finals contender team) they should take this opportunity as well. More so for a game that most likely was not penciled in as a win at the start of the year. (This can make up for the Geelong/Hawthorn loss for me).

Adelaide do have some very experienced players in the team though, and I think that does count for something. Plus, it will be interesting to see if the McDonald/Hogan/Tall combination (should Melbourne play three talls) works against the crows.

Not sure why you keep referencing our grand final anyway... remember this one?
I do.
I also remember Essendon being one of the most dominant sides in that year that we'd seen for a long time.
We went in not expected to win as opposed to you blokes going in hot favourites

That is a fair chunk and whilst clubs won't use injuries as an excuse, the reality is you're a far better side with those blokes in.
Surely Matt Crouch doesn't miss just the one week with a recurring hammy. Can't see them risking him again by flying him to NT

I do.

Okay you've got me, losing to that ****house richmond team does my head in, as do their supporters

I think the NT is closer to the ski fields and other holiday spots. Demon fans have usually given on the AFL season by early May so they will usually get more supporters than their home games.

Don’t forget that we rolled Adelaide last year (without Hogan) and then got done in the fourth quarter of the second match up last year when we were also significantly undermined. Hard to get a read on these teams 1v1 given circumstances.

Just saying all the pressure on you guys... We will still beat you as we actually apply pressure and have good players, unlike your recent victories. Watching your game against Carlton they put a stat up in the last quarter somewhere which said (i think) that you had scored 90 points from turnovers.. good luck getting a quarter of that against us.
We don't need it from turnovers against your mob, we will just beat you in the middle.

Why fill up a 50k stadium when you can get 44,000 combined supporters against Carlton at the MCG or 25,000 combined supporters against St.Kilda at Etihad?

Carlton home game...

And we do not lower ourselves to entering that bunghole of a stadium.

Our average home game attendance so far in 2018 is 55,567

Adelaide's is 45,380
