Gosh I'm nervous. I've had Essendon jerks dropping by my office all day, some even brought tissues for me because they're convinced that I'll be in tears later. Some of them predicting that they'll win by 5+ goals.

I don't know whether I should walk up to the G now or just sit here and continue to stare at the walls for a bit longer.

Head of now and stop in at a bar for a little while Mrs EB as the pre match will be a Essendon wank fest for 140 year celebrating*...;)
 
Time's going slow now need a few beers to quicken the time lol.
A win tonight and i'll be one happy drunk!
Watching the game at a mate's house who goes for Collingwood and two Essendon mates coming to watch it as well.
Tempting fate going there but bugger it it will be worth it if we win!

they dont allow lenses greater than 200mm in there mate... I tried to take my 300mm lens in to the Freo vs Carlton game in 2011 and the bastards wouldnt let me... and they werent going to let guns take in his banner pole either until he made it known that he was part of the Carlton cheer squad

Yeah they had a blanket ban on all cameras once, from memory. Sumfink about not undercutting accredited broadcasters/paparazzi.

Now they don't give a hoot about camera phones but if you're using profesh equipment you need a press pass!

But mine is 70-200...should I be worries?

And we could go on about how they were the original serial salary cap cheats... how they were the original draft tamperers... how they won a premiership through cheating the salary cap and how their ex-president of the club, Ron Evans, managed to hide the fact that Essendon cheated in 1993 for a couple of years until it came out that they had in fact been cheating when they won their 15th premiership.

We could also go on about how Evans in his role as the chairman of the AFL awarded his own company the catering rights to AFL matches anywhere.

And there are w***ers in black and red who get their jollies calling us cheats and tankers without even acknowledging that their crimes are much worse than ours.

And now they are caught up in a scandal that threatens the whole game as a sport because they felt the need to cheat to get ahead.

Thats it... I had come over from the UK a week or so before the game and I was wanting to take some good pics of the match... but I could only take in my 70-200mm lens and I had to leave my 85-300 in the cloak room.

I made sure that they had insurance before they took it off me... last thing I needed was for some w***er to knock the shelf and have the $400 lens fall off the shelf and smash itself on the floor.
