Nah, I think you have him confused with Judd. Gibbs has been the best of our experienced players tonight.

Did you watch the game? I think he had a real crack tonight. Yes, his disposals let us down. But we had our chances tonight. The defeat wasn't his fault. He was poo against StKilda, so im glad he did better.

Yeah Joseph was much better tonight. I doubt very much there were 4 or 5 goals from his mistakes. People tend to blame players for not doing the impossible or just for being in the area.
We blew this game with our set shots. 5 posters don't help. Our effort was there, Watson and bootsma played well for young fellas. Walker had his greedy boots on, Judd down. We just don't have the cattle at the minute. Hope warnock pulls up ok. We need him badly

Finally some watchable football again from the Carlton Football Club. Dominant in most of the important indicators but kicking in front of goal let us down badly.
Liked the games of Collins, Watson, Tuohy, Warnock and Duigan which were all promising.
Unfortunately i'm ready to concede the top 4 finish at this point, and in all likelihood, any chance of the flag in 2012.

Judd was absolute puss tonight, on a such a season defining game the Captain the million dollar man played like a downhill skiing girl.
Where to go from here's the question. Deflating to say the least.
Hampson and Henderson just can't mark the ball. Don't want to be hard on Hendo though because he's not a forward as shown again tonight. He's been great at CHB and needs to stay there
New nickname for Collins.....'The Butcher' Just turns the ball over way to often !

The effort was increased, accuracy was poor in the last when it mattered - and not just from the boundary. I think its clear Gibbs needs to be given a man and told to shut him down. No more roaming free about the place. The three rucks isnt working - and maybe irrelevant anyway with Warnock injured again - Id like to see Mitchell fast tracked if Waite isnt coming back soon.

- Gibbs had probably his best game for the year
- Jamison had a reasonably good game on hawkins

You're dead right, we had 30 scoring shots against Geelong tonight, one of the best defences in the competition, we sliced them up, and couldn't convert.
God knows how many set shots we missed.

We'll probably only win around 3 games at years end. Maybe 4 if we're lucky.
Good effort tonight, we just didnt have the class or the finishing skills it takes to be a top 8 side. Well done to Simpson, ran his guts out, Gibbs, did a good job on Stevie Gay, Watson, improving each game, Judd, nice last quarter efforts and McLean, Duigan, Walks and Warnock.
