My trades:
OUT
Currie ($102,700)
IN
Nicholls ($108,500)
OUT
Jones ($344,100)
IN
Mitchell ($108,500)

I have $477,50 to play with Next week.

H.Taylor, Blicavs out and dwyer still injured meant I had to trade out one of them out or currie for Nicholls (I wanted to get hovrat but, ahh well).

I think Blicavs has more cash to make with his recent form, same for dwyer (plus no forwards I want to bring in first week of the byes) and Taylor is a good unique option.

19 players this week, I dont trust thurlow wont get the vest.

Moloney > Stanton
Daw > Nicholls

a depressing 2.9k left.

Any Daw owners keeping him? Obviously he's gonna drop a packet this week unless he kicks another bag (not entirely out of the question, if he can do it against the Saints he can do it against the Suns... right?) Hopefully I can go Rowe > Daw post bye as a sideways trade (how depressing that sounds....)

Looks to me like a luxury I can't afford to trade out anyone with a green dot on their name. Blue for green seems the go.

Daw owners presuming they still have blitz and two other rucks probably should just be getting an 89k ruck the first chances they get post byes

Too much else to do with teams to worry about that assuming they are also doing blitz to nicholls/grimely as well

R4 is the least of everyone's worries

Anyone getting Hutchings in this week? Has the dreaded yellow dot next to him

Cotch to Hutchings
Murphy to Stanton

Not convinced with cotch. He needs to string some games together and he will probably drop next game anyway.

I'm over Murphy underachieving and having a massive BE so I'll get Stanton in with his BE at 30.

leaves me just under 600k in the bank.

Have gone Bellchambers -> Kreuze thanks the big lug being dropped, glad to have finally been given the excuse I neeeded to cull him.
Also Le Cras -> Garlett to avoid a donut. Wanting to go Walker instead, but nervous he'll be a late out, and will be on a plane when final teams are out tonight.
Picking up two Carltank players, just yuk.

decided on Goodes to Gibbs and Luenburger to Nicholls

Not sold on any of the ruckman really yet so will wait a little, use the $$ elsewhere, then upgrade Blita once maxed

Simple for me

Gray to Kreuz
Evans to Heppell/Gibbs

So who is the pick
Heppell or Gibbs

Kruez good pick. Agree with JDWCE as Gibbs is value and a good scorer, but if you can afford the extra 40k I'd say grab Heppell. You could delay and get him later but who knows what will happen in DT, you might find its weeks before you upgrade your defenders again.

Sounds perfect to me, Nichols to R3 after the byes and then upgrade Blics to Minson/Roughy/NicNat.

Yes thats what I was thinking, Prefer Heppell I think and with Vlastuin playing well Defenders won't be a priority until later in the season.

However Gibbs price was perfect. and leaves me about 480k for mid next week. Otherwise I have 440k. that 40k actually falls on a very critical price for mids

Any love for Luke Ball?

I've gone Moloney > Stanton (set to increase ~$30-40k this round).
Mayes > Bartel

However, I might trade out Evans/Jones for Luke Ball, and then pick up NRoo the week after, considering he's set to decrease a bit this week.

Not for me unfortunately. If I had room I would consider him, great price for someone of that calibre, but I have my 8 premo mids finished so can't fit him in.

Jarryd Roughead -> Jimmy Bartel.
Oliver Wines -> Brent Stanton.

Also a few interchange changes..

Lance Franklin -> Joe Daniher. (May be temporary, depends on Joe's performance/whether he continues to get games).
Michael Barlow -> Brad Crouch. (Temporary until the Dockers return next week).

Brought my lineup to 19 green dots, hopefully I can fluke a decent score.

Ended up going Blicavs -> Nicholls & Evans -> Bartel. Next week will hopefully be Evans -> Hrovat & Rowe -> Roughead

EDIT: 20 playing this round including 14 premiums

have gone viney to mitchell
goodes to gibbs

nxt week evans to hrovat
blicavvs to grimley

week after
omeara to jack
ben kennedy to riewoldt

(if all goes to plan )

Pies fans, what are your thoughts on Ben Kennedy? Is he likely to keep his place in the team and is it worth me downgrading Dwyer to Kennedy in order to avoid a donut. It just means that I am going to miss out on one of Kyle Martin or Hrovat?

What do you guys reckon, field 17 or miss out on one of those rooks?

Moloney + Neade > Swan + Daniher

Swan will lose a little money but at least he'll make a 100 doing it (as long as he plays). Was originally Evans > Tom Mitchell as well but Blicavs and Taylor resting means I need the extra player. I'll only get a full team if Hutchings and Saunders play.

Why are so many people bringing in Nicholls this week?

Wouldn't it make more sense to see how he goes this week and trade him next round?
