Round 11 Trades

My team after trades this week. Have to admit I haven't given too much thought to bye structures. My bad.

I have an 18/21/21 structure at the minute which is far from ideal. On the plus side my mids are nearing completion.

Best Fwd/mid DPP with a rd 15 bye anyone?

Haven't heard anything? Nothing on dogs board either.......source?
One of my mates Bouta is actually really good mates with him. Not injury related but more something in his personal life. He should play but just a rumour atm.

Jarred Jansen to debut swell another cheap mid coming up
Hopefully he goes ok

Been in the system a few years already, big strong kid at about 190cm, hopefully he has a mark and tackle game

To be honest, Brisbane have bugger all big bodied mids, Robinson and Rockliff are strong bodies but they aren't as tall, while Bell has played mainly forward IIRC. Hopefully Jansen can give them some physicality they've lacked for a while, he'd be a much handier downgrade than Trengove due to his cheaper price if he can average 60 odd (saving 52k IIRC). They've had to rely on Stef in this department the last 2 years imo.

Interesting i didnt know much about him :thumbsu:

He was at Geelong for 2-3 years and only played VFL for them, but he requested a trade citing the need for playing opportunities. Geelong were poor last year, if they weren't going to give him a game then, then they never would in the future with Danger and Scott Selwood coming in.

Team is as below (pre-trades). Considering the following two options:

1. Kerr->Steven (dpp Monty), Hewett->Mathieson. or
2. Smith->Steven, Hewett->Mathieson.

From reading the round 11 discussions (thanks Schmidt2003 and go you pups!), I'm leaning towards 2. This will gives me more points on the field (as I'm in desperate need of a league win). This way i can move kerridge off just before the byes (or even next week for Lewis). Also, I'm set up pretty well for the byes (20, 22, 18).

Any thoughts/suggestions would be great.
