Whats their to risk if it was just cramp? If nothing showed up on the scans i dont see the risk unless they are just trying to bluff the saints into preparing for him and pulling a geelong.

Thinking of changing things up and leave bray for one more week and he goes to cripps next week.

Duursma to Whitfield into Mids via Lockhart.
Leaves me with no rookies on field in the Mids
I just like looking at a full midfield, especially once cripps is in there

Much to the dismay of many I’m sure, very seriously considering bringing Brayshaw this week. Very cheap and surely turns the corner soon!?! Could be rozee and gibbons out, bray and baker in.
Very tempted to ride my team this week and do a double downgrade which will net me 563K in the bank for the triple trades starting next week.....

Wait until he turns the corner......scored well last 1/4 2 weeks ago, and did a bit last 1/2 last week. He's certainly not a top 8 mid at mo and not looking like it either.

Can probably go in 2 different ways this week
Williams --> K.Simpson (just to get me to the R14 bye really, but I reckon he could be a good smokey)
Newnes --> Martin
or
L.Young --> Rookie
Williams --> Kelly
So its really Martin & Simpson or J.Kelly and Newnes. Leaning towards the former because Newnes is only good for a 50 at the moment.

Would still recommend going the premo option in kelly. Dusty/simpson could give you dramas and warrent upgrading again later. Kelly wont (barring injury).
Newnes a chance to get his role back with Phillips out. Worth a hold particularly with his R12 bye getting out of the way early. He may be a useful player for you through R13/14?

On the contrary
Newnes will be 480k next week and continuously falling. His last 3 scores have been 58, 51, 54. Dusty should be a Top 6 Forward if he maintains even a little of his current form. Even at his season average of 87 he'd make a good F6.
Simpson's lowest season average in the last 10 seasons is 85. If you discard his injury game he's going at 80 with 2 poor games. Obviously Newman changes the dynamic somewhat, but he has gotten 3 scores over 90 playing alongisde Newman. At the worst case he gets me to R14 with solid scores.
I will wait and see what the teams deliver.

Saw him, worried he doesn't have a high ceiling. But seems consistent enough, would certainly consider.
I just want to get rid of both Williams and Newnes this week. My 4 rookies (Duursma, Hore, Stack, Walsh) aren't doing that badly so I can risk a fix up week.

Feel that Hinge is the only safe rookie option, not very happy he is r13 bye but still think he is worth getting in.
Thinking:
Duursma -> Hinge (on field, Stack DPP)
Rozee -> Jelly (Boak DPP)
Feel that people like Stack and Duursma could certainly be ridden a bit further, but unlikely to make more than 50k from here until their byes (certainly not Duursma), and can carry Jelly through the byes.
If Rocky is out then may consider Hayes -> Hinge, Rocky -> Jelly instead, but feel Rocky post-bye is going to be excellent so keen to avoid this!

Hmm good point. He is pretty inefficient with the ball so they could look elsewhere. That being said there isn’t a host of options to tag at Gold Coast

If he was like 400ish and growing i would say go for it, take the nice scores and the cash. But at 566K, i dunno so much. I can't see him as a keeper, so it seems a wasted trade, to me

his last 4 have been horrible and hes dropped a heap of cash from where he started, but he's going to be value soon and im looking at him as a trade target after his bye
