brayshaw is still averaging 92.
his last 4 have been horrible and hes dropped a heap of cash from where he started, but he's going to be value soon and im looking at him as a trade target after his bye

These sorts of opinions from the other side of the fence are very important haha.

It helps keep us Spudshaw owners level headed.

Think I'll hold as I can only make a decision on current events. And right now Spudshaw is worth nothing, but still has that history of scoring well at least. Have to hold from here.

Those trading in Hinge... what are your rucks?

If you have Grundy/Gawn I find it hard to believe Hinge can be a target due to that R13 bye.

For me (with Grundy/Gawn) I have donuts in ruck. So to field 20 in R13 I need every other spot filled. (I want the +2 scores to fall away as a goal just as a buffer for injuries).

Defense R13 byes I already have Lloyd/Crisp/Answerth. I have no room for an extra or I'm conceding I'm either trading one of Lloyd/Crisp or I'm going in with 19 players.

That effectively rules out Hinge for me unfortunately.

Baker also adds an extra R13 for the same problem in mids. By bringing him in I'll have to trade one of Heeney/Brayshaw (or Baker..) to field 20. Unless of course some DPP action comes in the assist (Balta swing to rucks, Fort downgrade to a fwd rook).

Think I'll take the Baker option.

I wisht there was a function to project your trades in AFL Fantasy - like to click on the next round ahead and practically play around with your trades. They could build in their "projected scores" to change prices. it would be super handy to play through the Byes in advance with a rough idea of price changes in order to see what it could look like. It would make me spend a lot more time on the site and isn't that what they want?

Good idea - would keep people motivated if they could see what their team ‘could’ look like by round 23...

I have Witts as my R2 so not a huge issue. Though R3 and R4 in Fort and Cameron also have R13 byes (not that Cameron will play other rounds), I might look at Ladhams for Cameron going into R13 but otherwise will take the donut and work on my other areas.

****, I'd never get any work done if they had that feature!

Given that they do projected price changes for 3 weeks, it would be good to have a 3 week team planner.

They can't even get the website/app working as it stands. They don't need more functions ton stuff up.

That said. It is a useful thing to do when planning your team (particularly over byes).

You know you're in deep when you're doing such things manually in excel spreadsheet (planning your trades through byes with forecast prices).

I did it for the first time last year and I clawed back from ~10,000 into the top ~ 1500 over 3 weeks. Certainly worth doing otherwise it's very easy to accidentally achieve nothing in byes (sideways trading / grabbing rookies who get dropped etc.).

🤪
I've been really keen on the idea of a fantasy simulator. Something that randomises players scores rolled off their consistency level the previous year and raises/lowers the price as you progress from week to week.

You could essentially play a full AFL Fantasy season in 10 minutes. And I think it'd prove very valueable for future planning.

Any programmers out there? Lol

I held Dunkley all the way through and am glad I did. Wasn’t too much fun at the time but I just couldn’t bring myself to trade him over upgrading a rookie.

Obviously if I had done it really early in the season to someone like Boak then that would have been different.

might be a silly question.....how come Ryan Gardner (mid season draft) from bulldogs is not listed as a player......he is playing this weekend and would be a good downgrade

Because the website developers are useless. SHOULD be in the game before lockout

Imagine if they don't do it in time lmao. Won't even be surprised.

I hope AFL Fantasy gets the full support of the board and gets cleaned out at the end of the year. It has so much unfulfilled potential.

If there are any programmers or developers out there - I reckon if you made up a half decent prototype and took it to them, you'd get yourself a job.

I have Balta and Stack on field............

Stack losing his spot this close to byes would be a disaster. Don’t have Balta but the same thing applies for those that do. Crossing fingers.

What's the tweet? My internet won't load it

Richmond: "We're going to leave some players out of the (Round 11) side this week that don't go out in bad form, they're actually playing good footy" Damien Hardwick
