Trades Round 13 trades (First bye week)

most likely one of the other to get the cash.

I am perfectly set up for byes so i am hoping I can jump the competition with this.

I've got 22 players available this week (Mathieson would have to play for that to happen though.) I think I'll use this week to strengthen for next week.

I'll look go move on Callum Mills to Tom Phillips and then upgrade Clay Cameron to any of Simpson, Docherty or Laird. That'd leave me with 21 players to chose for giving me 19 and 18 for the next two weeks before trades, which is absolutely perfect.

The key to this is everything going to plan, which really never happens does it. Fingers crossed however because this would set me up big tim.

I think I'll downgrade to get some rookies onto the bench for the byes. Looking at MacPherson to a rd12 bye player and I might upgrade Smith in my backline.

Injury report stated 2 weeks still from June 10th.

However it is only a finger. I think he will be pushing to be right for round 14. Will be close.

Yes but you have to get them on the field. So you can't have 10 scores from mids, or 4 scores from Rucks.

Not sure about whether to ditch Hall or not. Maybe it would be on the safe side to get rid of him, then bring him back in later. Can't have a premium player doing nothing in the bye rounds.

Think I'll probably ditch J. Smith as well.

Would love to know peoples thought's on Ablett? Has scored 120, 124 & 120 over his last three games, the week off worked him wonders and and with another week off for bye will only enhance him again. Hawthorn, GWS and the Dogs are the only current top 8 sides the Suns have to play after their bye. With the Suns getting over their injury problems it's hard not to get excited about him.

I know he's not even playing this week but with 21 players playing (22 if Mathieson can get a game) there's no point me strengthening my players playing this week, it's always been my tactic to use this week to set my self up for the rest of the byes. I'm hoping Tom Phillips does really well today and make it an easy job to trade him in.

How I'm looking at trading:

If Phillips doesn't play really well it may worry me off bringing him in this week, there's a bit of a risk involved if I bring in two players this week who aren't even playing, imagine if they got injured or Phillips was even dropped. Would be a massive balls up.
