BT just said that Marcus Ashcroft is training with us. Still got it!

Performances like these have cost us a few times this season unfortunately and probably will continue to do so. Take the 4 points but the Saints are a poor, poor side and we let them back in several times tonight through pretty lazy footy. Shoutout to Joe, busted his ass tonight and has all season. Clearly the best player on the ground. Also thought Kai's energy was very important in the last quarter when the majority of the team were going through the motions, every touch matters to him and his importance to the team over the last 6 weeks has been greater than the stats would suggest.

Never in doubt !!!

McCluggage, Daniher, Zorko, Lester and Wilmot

Lester was great tonight. Twenty-one disposals at 100% disposal efficiency. Really playing the backline general role well. Daniher had a cracker. Zorko and McCluggage were on fire in the first half and Wilmot is going from strength to strength.

Definitely a bizarre game. Forwards were mostly really good and the backs mostly poor. Almost the opposite of most the rest of the year.

Zorko and Hugh set up a lot of that win early. Joe was big all night. Berry did a critical shut-down role on Steele.

We'll be right in a week, the boys will work on defence and keeping focus. I'm not overly concerned by the switch off. But I think McKenna needs a spell in the VFL, he's killing us with turnovers and we have plenty of good HBFs.

Votes to Daniher, Zorko, McCluggage, Rayner and Morris. I'm actually really surprised Rayner only had 13 disposals, it felt like he was one of the few bright spots in the second half. Best game Zorko has played all year, apart from getting a kick stolen by Henry for a goal.
Rayner held 3 big marks in the forward line (though one taken off him). He was good in the center in the last, but his distribution let him down, or his team mates let him down. Still, he’s on the up.

Joey, Zorko, Clugga, Rayner and Morris for my 5. Not the prettiest by a long shot. Terrible umpiring, shocking centre bounces ,(did he actually give up at one point?)

Take the points and move on

Didn't he actually call him as taking a mark in the first?

He's been good the last 2 weeks and the way we're using him he's able to put in enough effort when he gets near it.

Hard game to judge. We won the game in the first quarter and then just kinda cruised. The concerning thing was how much our structure collapsed in the last quarter.

Sigh, I'm going to have to reevaluate my voting. Can't have 80% alignment, that's just wrong. :(
Embrace the fact that you are almost as good a judge as I am ☝️🥳
