Round 15 Trades

Jack seems like a pod, don't like Barlow though everyone had him. And then if year you're going to need pods, and I don't see how you'll win if every mid is the same as everyone else's, I just need 1 or two midfielder different... Jack maybe? Hmm!
The best unique options, in my opinion, are: Jack, Griffen, Cornes, Montagna, Masten, O'Keefe and Prestia.

Don't understand Prestia, and why people are seriously considering him. He's been racking it up as of late but he doesnot warrant premium status, imo he won't be an adequate unique to keep up with other teams as he simply doesn't have the ability to get massively involved yet. Jack, Griffen, Montagna and maybe Cornes are viable left field options. Maybe Dids.

But next year, I'll seriously consider Dion at the right price. Will never get the big tag and has massive potential.

EDIT: and ROK, could have a massive end to the year.

Well that's exactly why we call him a unique. If you think he can maintain his form for the rest of the year, which you obviously think he can't, then get him.

I'm trading in Griffen this week, which will give me Ablett, Swan, Griffen, Jack, Watson, Priddis, Cotchin, Mitchell (Blicavs, Martin). Mitchell will become Pendlebury then when I've finally completed my side in about two weeks Cotchin will become one of Barlow, Stanton, Montagna or Masten.

Alright, the teams shocked me a little.

Nick Riewoldt -> Jarryd Roughead.
Joel Selwood -> Ryan O'Keefe (capt).

I can either swap Selwood out or do the Vlastuin -> Ibbotson trade instead.. I'll probably get Riewoldt back next week.

I need a good Captain this week, I need NO zero's, and I also need to scrounge as many points as possible.. Thoughts?

Duffield to Clisby (Goodes to cover) hopefully can upgrade to Gibbs next week.
Jelwood to Barlow GTFO Selwood, too inconsistent.

For some reason I couldn't stomach having Tom Mitchell on the bench and preferred to do things elsewhere rather than fill the last premo mid spot. Depends how he goes this weekend.

Let's hope I don't have a repeat of Round 14 whereby all my uniques stuffed it up.

Barlow v Saints at Subi? My only concern is he doesn't go in as hard due to his jaw.

Yeah.. I don't really want to risk it. If Barlow proves himself this week, I'll be in the market to upgrade my benched mid Brett Goodes next week anyway, so..

Injured or not, I still see him racking up a decent score against the Saints, especially with Crowley (likely) going to Montagna.

Scotland to Dangerfield
Thurlow to Clisby

Leaving me with 42k

Heppell, Goddard, Gibbs, Hanley, Terlich, Goodes (Vlastuin, Clisby)
Ablett, Griffen, Swan, Priddis, Swallow, Pendles, Dangerfield, Watson (Mitchell, Martin)
Cox, Kreuzer (Nicholls, Rowe)
Rockliff, Franklin, JJK, Martin, Natanui, Staker (Neade, SJ)

Next week hopefully upgrade Downgrade to get Ibbotson.

So I can stick with my double downgrade and start Ben Kennedy for this week (in place of Roo), or do I bring in a M/F to be my F7/M9 for the rest of the year.

The only problem with bringing in someone to cover Roo for this week is that I can't get Clisby and would have to settle for Ben McKenzie. Or if I do bring in Clisby he has to start on field.

So what is the better option?

Starting on the field:
Goodes & C. Bird (miss out on Clisby)
Goodes & B Kennedy
Clisby & Bird

That is not something I thought of. Should I hang onto Jelwood and temporarily trade out Montagna to ROK or Barlow you think?

Not many people getting McKenzie, is there a reason people are avoiding him?

I wonder with Dusty Martin out whether this will allow NVlaust to rack up some more disposal. Might keep him this week

Really, Dusty out?? Since when?

Starting on the field:
Goodes & C. Bird (miss out on Clisby)
Goodes & B Kennedy
Clisby & Bird

Defo would not put Clisby on the field- he scored decent against Saints and Dogs, against Swans this week he might not remember what the ball looks like!

Anyone else still starting JOM?

Yep. He's at M7 for me, partially because I have SJ on the bench. I keep planning to trade him, but other shit just keeps popping up... Given he's gone 106, 100 the last two matches (bye in between), it hasn't been a great loss as yet....

I have enough cash to do JOM - anyone except Beams (inj), Ablett (got), Griff (got) next week. Provided all things run to about average scores this week.

Thinking of bringing in Stanton as a pod.

8th highest avg in the comp, only $475k... but those 50's!

I cannot decide on if I should spend the cash and bring in Stokes or save a bit and bring in the unpopular Rockcliff?!?!
