Round 15 Trades

Sorry to ask again, but just desperately need some input on whether, with $180k in the bank, S.Mitchell > Barlow is the best use of my second trade??? (*Bearing in mind, I'm happy to stick with Terlich and T.Mitchell till they max out)

B: Goddard, Heppell, Gibbs, Hartlett, Ibbotson, Terlich (Clisby & Thurlow)
M: Ablett, Swan, Griffen, Pendlebury, S. Mitchell, A. Swallow, Watson, T.Mitchell (K.Martin & Colquhoun)
R: Cox, Clarke (Nicholls & Currie)
F: Martin, Cloke, Westhoff, Franklin, Rockliff, J. Kennedy (Paparone & Rowe)

boyd --> pendlebury, griffin, ROK or barlow?

Coin flip. Barlow and Pendles are keepers, Griffen and ROK should go big this week. Normally I'd say grab the keepers, but with 2 trades a week take a punt and grab Griffen. Low BE, should score well, and can always trade him out if he begins to lose form.

Think I may have settled on:
Duffield -> Gibbs
Vlaustin -> Clisby

I was contemplating Duff -> ROK (due to Melb game) via Goodes DPP, but then I would have Mitchell on the bench but Gibbs v pies.. not sure how he will go. Barlow I will leave until next week I think.

Alright, I'm indecisive as hell. Damn you DT.

Final trades:

Nick Riewoldt -> Jarryd Roughead.
Max Bailey -> Matthew Kreuzer.

Coxy is likely to be a late out, so I swapped Roughy into the ruck and brought Cox down into the forward line with Tom Lee as my emergency.. I'm pretty damn smart. ;) (Nobody from my ruck bench is playing).

Bring on round 15.

Any backing for this statement, Or just a 'gut' feel

A winnable must Win game. Seems strange to "rest" Cox

There is no way in hell Cox is being rested tomorrow night. It is a huge game for the Eagles and they MUST win. Their main advantage over the crows is their dominance in the ruck with Cox and Nic Nat over Jacobs. Won't happen.

Not so sure about this. Anyways, Lee is on extended bench, I have him too but I wouldn't be so sure he makes the 22.

Blicavs downgrade? Best option that plays games is Gorringe who has a B/E of 34, do I just throw in a 89K nobody?

Depends if your team is full or not. A lot of people putting on McBean (102k), as he's the cheapest R4 DPP ruck you can get. Actual playing ruck downgrades- only Gorringe or maybe O"Hailpin. Neither are gonna go that well though. JS for others is all pretty poor (Gawn, Fitzpatrick, Cegnar, Grimley, Simpson...)

Hmmm...
Not sure what to do. Have Boyd, but midfield without him is still:
Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Barlow, Jack, Kennedy, Cotchin, Mitchell (Kyle Martin)
I could leave him on the bench.. but what I'm doing at the moment is Boyd->Brad Mckenzie, Scotland -> Gibbs
Still need to get rid of thurlow, but I figured I could do that next week.
What should I do?
Team:
Goddard, Hanley, Heppell, Vlastuin, Staker, Clisby (Scotland, Thurlow)
Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Barlow, Jack, Kennedy, Cotchin, Mitchell (Kyle Martin, Boyd)
Cox, Naitanui (Nicholls, Blicavs)
Rockliffe, Bartel, JK, Franklin, Mcaffer, Mayes (S Johnson, Reiwoldt)

What are you thinking with Hanley? I still have him too, but I want to move him on to a more reliable model.
What about downgrading Boyd this week for say Brandon Jack who's on the bubble? Depending on what your strategy is and how much $, you could always move Cotchin on to ROK or Cornes as a unique?

I've had Currie all season, done **** all the stupid campaigner.

I dunno about Hanley. I still see him as a premo who will do well (don't forget there are very few reliable defenders). I was thinking to downgrade Boyd. I think Brad Mckenzie from North would be better than Brandon Jack? Then I will have enough $$$ to complete my team with still a fair bit of cash on the bench which I could use to later trade Boyd back in, or go Cotchin/JPK/Mitchell to another premo

Ben Kennedy the sub and I have him starting on my ground, do I just cop it and back the other 21 players out there or do I change my Ellis to Ibbo trade as a result of this. Only in this situation because of Roo and SJ and unfortunately I can't find a way to get Brad Crouch into the forwards!

Yeah I forgot about McKenzie. Too many on the bubble this week.. Duffield's injury f***ed up my plans too. Gorringe to go next week, bring a premo ruck in, and downgrade someone to someone else..

Terlich is an interesting one, I missed the boat on him, but if he keeps going 80-100 could be worth his price as a perm fixture.

Same, but I'm too stubborn to pay that much for the moment anyway. Enright/Hibberd could be worth a look

You sure about trading Roo? Its 1 week.

I see both Ellis and Ibbo as keepers for defense. If you take out his sub affected scores I am pretty sure Ellis is in the top 5 defenders.

Just my 2 cents.
