You understand that the German and French languages both use latin script, that's also used by the English language?
A player's name "written in German or French" would look exactly the same as it does in English. If you go to Germany, your surname is still Heard. It doesn't change because the language changes. Arabic and Chinese use different scripts and therefore look different to English.

Most players seemed to have English names, so I went with that.
Had there been a predominance of some other language I would have copied the Google translate into Illustrator.

My old footy club (Kingsville) wore a navy jumper with gold sash. I always thought it was the best looking jumper. As a kid I always thought Richmonds yellow and black was a poor cousin to the navy and gold.

Truth us you don't have to design to pass comment.
It's what makes this board so good, you'll have one pass a judgement based off the design program aspect - and one pass a judgement based off the actual look of the jumper as a spectator.
We have a mod here who doesn't design on the computer programs and myself for a start.
It's often why I think I have the opposite views to the rest on designs as I see it another day.
That all said, my point is feel free to pass a judgement or offer criticism and advice but, just think about how you word it - particularly to older heads and experienced posters like Mero as he is what keeps the board ticking over.

Deleted a couple of posts here. Lynton is just giving his feedback to Mero, there's no need to insult him, particularly as he's a youngn.
Its not Meros falt for this but seriously- 'we are making stupid jumpers'? Come on people just keep disrespecting Gold Coast with what jumpers they where and there form. Its been a tough few years with injuries and me as a proud and loyal member is sick and tired of all this hatred and disrespect toward my beloved team. They go out every week give 100%. Of cause sometimes there will be mistakes but they happen. I am standing up for my team and the AFL community has no place or time for people being very disrespectful.

Until the clubs all share artwork with me (some do now; no, I won't say who), jumpers like this are never going to be 100% accurate.
Even when they do there's a variation in templates that often means design elements are sometimes re-sized slightly to fit my template.
With this one I've actually made more of an effort to get it right than I have with the Sugar Daddy jumpers.
It just so happens with this one that the We Are statements are in a larger font, and therefore easier to spot differences.
Oh, and yes, I took some licence with lines I could not make out.

In this case of the WeAre jumpers, as with the Sugar Daddy jumpers, you only noticed it because I told you it was there.
In this example, it's your team. Other than the very first game they played, I don't remember Gold Coast wearing a jumper with names (or text of any kind) on it before.
I could have gone the Lorem Ipsum road, but instead got as close as possible.
