I believe it's worn for all interstate games except Sydney and Gold Coast. The only Victorian team its used against is St Kilda.
I'd rather see them use it for all home games , with black shorts of course.

Gahhh bloody Pies. Is this the first time Pies have worn clash against GWS? I looked through aflphotos.com.au to see the history between these two teams for tipping and I could only see evidence of them in home/white when playing away

This is the second time this round I've been burnt by teams changing up what they would normally wear (Hawks Thursday night). The clash does look cleaner though.

Has there been a mid-season edict from AFL House that we don't know about? Could it be so?

What did you expect Hawks to wear?

Brown / White. Because it was an away game.

What's the Hawks clash policy with the use of the brown jumper, because we've seen a few times this season where the home jumper has been worn away instead.

Since last year's GF when we wore home + white, it seems to be more accepted and as it is a better combo v dark clubs.

Of course its a better combo, but it pretty much makes the brown jumper redundant.

They had previously worn home/white twice this year, but one was Richmond which clearly the brown wouldn't work, and the other was North - but they seemed to be celebrating their 76/86 flags that weekend. This appears to have been the first time this year they specifically chose to wear it (or were directed to by the AFL) for a better contrast in comparison to their brown jumper where they haven't "needed" to previously.

Sweet, thanks mate.

I thought he had a Fijian parent but clearly not.
According to Wikipedia, his mother is Fijian. If you go back a few generations, Fiji took in immigrants from primary the subcontinents, and other similar areas in Asia and the Middle East. I still have relatives in Fiji from when my family moved there in the 1950s. Maybe his mother is from and Islamic / Arab family that moved to Fiji around the same time.

Is that the stupid WE ARE ... Jumpers?
Yes, yes it is.
Along with the equally as stupid names on the back.

Frankly having some names in English and others in Arabic just makes more thinking for Mero.
Don't these clubs ever think about Mero?
