We could obviously do far worse than to give Steele a week off, to rest his body and freshen him up a bit for the run home, and it would be a great opportunity to get Bytel in, for a full game in the midfield in the seniors.

If Seb is also carrying something that would benefit from more rest then give him another week off. Otherwise he comes in for Steele, or potentially Windy.

Wouldn’t want to underestimate their midfield though, with Kelly having a very good year and Yeo and Shuey back in there. Yeo has been going well and Shuey had 28 yesterday, then they also have Sheed.

Looks like a pretty soft run home from here so l still think we'll scrap in to finals then it's a 50/50, but knowing us we'll end up playing the Cats.
To make finals I think we are going to have to win a game we are not expected to win. I don't give us a chance of beating Melbourne or Brisbane so it's got to be one of Richmond or Geelong at Marvel.

I just think we will drop at least one of the games we're expected to win, so we need to find at least one other win somewhere.

No it won’t we win by 60 + amazing how many negative supporters are here.

100+ points would seem the current benchmark, easily. Not sure we're that kinda team to get it done. It's not negative, it's just where we're at. We've done really well considering, mid-table is an achievement.

Melb, Geelong, Brissy plus the tigers and Hawks who both beat us, Suns on their own deck and you call that soft OK

In: Billings, Bytel, Cordy, Ross/Connolly

Out: Steele, Philipou, Howard, Brynes

Give both Steele and Pou a rest, no need to go to West Coast. Howard shouldn't be in the team ever again. Same with Brynes, a couple if weeks in the 2s might do him some good.

I don't understand why Pou needs a rest.

He needs to be coached to back himself in and kick the ball.... take the game on. Leaving him out isn't the answer imo.

Billings not getting a game after 1 run at Sandy
Connolly with 15 touches yesterday won't get game

We are no position to say lets rest Steele and Pou its only West coast

Agree 100%

RTB has said many times not worried about ladder position we are building something, to me that means Pou, Caminiti will be playing most games if not all of them

Why wouldn’t Billing’s get a run, we take to long to bring back into seniors have a look at Collingwoods side Lapinski straight in, Howe straight in wasting time playing 2s as the season slips away no logic in it.

It's a 4-hour plane trip, it's just a bit of a risk coming off a hamstring injury. We'd be better off running him through the VFL one more time, getting the recovery he needs and bringing him in for the Melbourne game.

If it was played in Vic then sure but why not give him a week off instead of taking him to WA. I get the need to get games into him but you don't want to burn the kid out and he doesn't progress going into the back end of the season and next year. Giving him a week isn't the end of the world.

Because he is coming of a bad hamstring and hasn't played a game all year in the ones and 4hour plane trip, make perfect sense not to play him imo
