Brodie and Ellis omitted!!!!
Wow wow wow wow
In Coach Dew I trust.
If we can make it close or God forbid even win, then yes. But if this turns into another 10+ goal thrashing at home, then my tingling spider senses about team selection will continue.
What I’m really disappointed about is that Izak won’t be playing NEAFL this week due to soreness.
It’s getting bad when our NEAFL team is more important to me than our senior side.

Don't forget he's still under twenty games. What a little continuity could have built with him — that's for a another team to find out.
Sexton and Miller should count themselves very lucky.....Powell and Martin as well. Will be interesting to watch Heron in the big league. Could be a big loss looming and more rumblings.

The dropping of Will Brodie is one of the most bazaar selections the Match committee has ever made at the Suns.
If the committee believe he is contributing less than Martin ,Miller ,Powell and Sexton than we as a football club have serious issues within.
The only possible reasons I can think of is there will be a late out or Will has stated he wants out at the end of the year.
Our job as a football club is to encourage and develop our young draftees ,are we achieving this -not sure.

He sure wasn’t in the worst 12 players on the field.
In my opinion, here are 11 players better than Brodie against Swans.
Harbrow, Joyce, Hombsh, Lukosius, Hanley, Weller, Witts, Swallow, Miles, Macpherson, Wright.

Scheer and Ellis probably too.

Brodie getting dropped is bizarre. He wasn't great last week but the same could be said for a lot of guys. With Miller back in I have noticed the midfield balance is a bit off. Must be a result of that. It really sucks though as I think he should be playing.

I wasn't too impressed with Ellis last week. A lot of turnovers by hand that I saw. I would have given him the extra week though to get used to the pace of AFL.

Scheer did a great job last week on Lloyd. Wonder if he will tag Cotchin this week?

I like Corbett coming back in. I don't mind Heron coming back in either who has been doing well lately in the 2s.

Ellis is unlucky. But I don't know anything about Heron. Can someone fill me in?
He got speed, can break the lines. Probably brought into defence to counter Richmond's small brigade. He did have excellent game in NEAFL last weekend. The best together with Corbett and Murdoch.

Heron averages 15 disposals and 2 tackles at NEAFL and he's meant to be an outside running player LOL. What an absolute joke

Scheer played his role well the last week. As a reward he will play in midfield replacing Brodie. He could get similar numbers or probably will tag someone. Sucks for Brodie. I bet at the end of season Suns keep Scheer over Brodie. Both are similar types.

I think I am actually done with the suns, just too frustrating. Went to first game in Brisbane and have been a member for 5 years but having given away Scrimshaw for a 4th round pick last year and now Brodie likely to leave for a second round pick at best because he just hasn’t been given the opportunity (I believe) he has deserved it’s just turning into a horror show. Scrimshaw was always going to leave but Brodie has been badly treated in my opinion when you see how many other kids have been gifted games. You can talk about 2 way running all you want but he gets his hands on the pill. Can learn running in the seniors as well. It’s not a terminal flaw. No doubt he will make the suns look silly at another club when given the right opportunity and encouragement.

I'm hearing you mate they are really testing me as well.
I would bet $10000 in 2 years from now Heron will be playing NEAFL for Southport and Brodie will be a B+ player for a Victorian AFL Club.
Bookmark that.

Ah, you guys are more interesting than your bloody footy team lol. Would really love to see you have a sneaky win this week to lift your spirits.
Hi Mrs Barlow.

Im with you mate, I’m just about done with them as well.
I’ve lost just about all interest in the team and club this year.

I’ll still be going to games because I love footy and to keep my 100% attendance record.

This year is the 1st time I’ve ever left a game early in my life.
I’ve sat through every Suns game at Metricon all 80+ all the thrashing’s rain hail or shine but this year I just couldn’t take it anymore.

In my opinion this is our most disappointing year in our history from team selection to our boring game style to bad coaching and very little communication with members.
At least Rocket was open with the members and fans Dew seems like he wants nothing to do with us.

More importantly, they are similar types and Scheer will be happy to be on the rookie list. how fast would Brodie be out the door if he were asked to go to the rookie list in similar circumstances. (which with pick one in the PSD you could totally do.)

changes are a little surprising but make sense for the most part. Speed is a big issue for us and with an abundance of inside mids in the side Brodie must be the slowest. Ellis is a bit more confusing but i suppose they wanted a speedy defender in Heron to match up on Richmond's mozzie squad.
Corbett is an obvious In after his performance.
Im more surprised Murdoch is not playing seniors.
