Hey guys,

I need some guidance after my disastrous round last week capped off by trading Fyfe -> Cripss on Sunday morning...

So I need to trade out Cripps now, obvious choice is straight to Jelwood

Another option is going Cripps -> Greene and opening up another DPP link with my Fwds and then hopefully going Greenwood -> Jelwood next week..??

Only got 5 Trades & $7k in the kitty.. Here is my team... Any advice will be much appreciated :thumbsu:

Cripps to Parker (pocket 10k) then hold for a bit

Cripps to Jelwood or Parker sounds solid. Then look at upgrading Greenwood to a primo D via Witherden.

Assuming you want one with some chance of playing given Eddy low JS.
Not many in that range. Buzza on bubble, Kayle Kirby/ Begley could debut, Ben Long?
Josh Thomas / Brennan Cox just outside that range, Shane Kersten 202.
Mid DPP swing possible? (Not much there, either, tbh, maybe NM Hibberd?)
Someone smarter might have another option they can suggest.

Thanks for the advice.
Yeah had Ben Long in..not ideal by any stretch but best option I have I think.
Thomas would be ideal but just too expensive.

Think I'll be taking Thomas.

Decent cover and I'll pocket the cash from Parsons.

If he wasn't DPP though I'd probably be ignoring him.

He is good cover and should keep his spot. How many trades do you have left??

If i had more then 4 i would be getting him for sure, but getting him in this week and selwood next week would leave me with only 2 trades which isn't many at all

Thinking about trading Cripps to Duncan. Is rolling with Selwood, Danger and Duncan too much?

Don't really see any standouts under 560k that I don't have.

Well, if I wasn't going so awful the last couple of weeks I'd be happy about this week's dilemma
S Selwood - in
H Greenwood - in
T Greene - in
JP Kennedy - in
I can finally concentrate on sub-premo upgrades (Tuohy, Steele or Wallis) rather than fielding donuts.

Currently
Docherty, Adams, Roberton, Lloyd, Hibberd, Tuohy (Witherden, Scharenberg)
Dangerfield, Martin, Merrett, Neale, Murphy, JP Kennedy, J Selwood, Treloar (Greenwood, S Selwood, Cousins)
Witts, Ryder (Darcy)
Dahlhaus, Franklin, Steele, Heeney, Greene, Wallis (Parsons, Strnadica)

5 trades left and $127K in the bank.

Trading Tuohy and Steele-or-Wallis will give me $980-990k to play with.

Thinking straight POD upgrades combinations of
A) Tuohy to Hurley ($529k) / Rance ($494k)
and
B) Wallis to Wingard ($457k, getting more time in the middle now) or Westhoff ($481K, delivering consistent 100's now)
Or maybe swing Ryder forward and pick up Mumford ($458k) or Gawn ($503k)

Any other suggestions welcomed, I'm leaning towards Hurley and Wingard.

thinking newman > simpson might get us 100-120 extra points over the run home, this might be a go-er.

bont > zork is a no brainer if you have the cash imo.

I'm going Hurley rather than Simpson - Essendon have a pretty good run home.
Similarly Bulldogs next 4 games should see Bont rack up a couple of big scores. I don't have him but have my midfield set now.

I know it's basically 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other, but who would you trade out out of Matt White and James Stewart this week? Which earns more money in the next few weeks? JStew seems to have good job security but Whitey is a DPP

7 left, $479K in cash.

Team basically final, except for 1 last upgrade in the RUC.

Needs over the next few weeks:

1) Jelwood
2) RUC upgrade (Gawn ? vs someone else)
3) Floating Donut (Bayok ?)

I'm leaning to holding this week, going Fisher --> Jelwood next, and have a luxury M9 of Hannebery / Fyfe.

I'd love to go get Zorko, but it's one more trade spent pre-finas and you can't pass up Jelwood.

Thoughts...

If they are going to end up on the bench and you aren't concerned about points I would keep the DPP - gives you more options for covering outs without trades

Great team.

My only thought is that if you go luxury bench space, then make it a dual position one. But the way my season is heading south, you may want to ignore that advice.

Bench players that I could possibly loop. Good point about the DPP actually

I'd hold until a bit later in the season to do a cleanout

Short on down grade options this week. Need $200K for an upgrade.
Havent had the time this week to look at it.
Which rooks in def/mid/fwds are worth shipping in ? Dont care whether def/mid/fwd coz i have $320K+ expendables on all lines.
Just want one that looks the best chance of multiple games. No interest in designated loopholers.
Any/All suggestions appreciated.

Darcy any good to you?

does anyone thing shai bolton will play this week? he is my loophole for greenwood/nank

Options? 8 Trades - 230k
Adams, Shaw, Hibberd (melb), Doch, Newman, Tuohy (Hibberd - Nth, Ryan)
Pendles, Danger, JPK, Neale, Merrett, Fyfe, Bont, Pepper (Berry, Witherden, Cousins)
Gawn, Martin (Strnadica)
Dank, Nank, Macrae, Buddy, Lynch, Parsons (Eddy, Greenwood)
Thinking Pepper to Dusty or Mitchell or should I just grab J Selwood for 100k cheaper. Thoughts?
Or should I free up more cash for a double upgrade next week and get rid of Pepper or Berry
