Yeah it’s a tough one.

I’ve currently got 22 premos but have Simpkin, Williams and doch.

Then for cover I’ve got:
Rivers/mcpherskn
Schoenberg/dead m-f/dead m-f
Draper
Comben/mozz

I’ve got 1 trade and 1.5k.

Weighing up if I should trade Draper to Rozee/SPS. It should mean I avoid donuts but it won’t be ideal under lots of scenarios.

Rivers & McPherson are adequate cover in Def and just as likely to score as well as SPS imho

You have just enough $$ for Draper > Jezza though. Capable of pulling 150+ scores out of his arse when he's on.

Jezza plays early enough to be used as the first half of a loop in both remaining rounds. That could be a good call, cheers.

As Neale went big last night (I was expecting him to be no more than $615k), I can't keep Rivers & get Greaves.

So for me this week, it's

- Rivers to Greaves (D7 and will fill in for Doc if he's out)
- 1 of Wicks/Shoenberg/Riccardi to Neale

Leaning to ditching Wicks, but if Riccardi isn't named, it might be a tricky call.

I was planning on doing:
Riccardi & Rivers/Shoenberg to a FWD (475k or less) i
Option include: Bailey Smith, Walters, Dixon, Dawson, Parish

Playing purely for overall.

If one of Williams or Docherty misses I will be forced to trade them. In that scenario hopefully Cavarra doesn't play and I can loop Close and Riccardi

Any suggestions?

If Doc or Williams misses you could do either of them to Rich and then turn Rivers/Riccardi into Acres/Chad. Give you a 'completed' team.

I've got all 3 and need to trade one of them out tonight so I can finish my team by moving BJ Williams into the rucks and upgrading Draper. Leaning Zilliams at this point as I have better cover in the forward line.

Who's more untrustworthy: Tom Browne or the GWS medical staff?

My guess Williams plays. Sounds more like precautionary/awareness and they need to win.
No idea on Doc as not even sure if anything in the report.

Think you have to hold at least until you’re certain who is playing. By that I mean an hour before the game if you can.

all 3 play and we’re worrying for nothing

Simpkin has a week off he’ll be fine to play
Doch is minor and a test
If it was bad he would’ve already been ruled out. Carlton need to win

see how wrong or right I am in a few days

I currently have Doch (D5) & McPeherson (D6)... with no reliable bench cover.

My earlier plan was to upgrade McPherson -> Daniel. However if Doch misses, I could be stuck with a zero.

So now I'm thinking.. Should I just keep McPherson as my D6 and upgrade Doch -> Ryan ?

What do you guys think?

Hawks midfield decimated, will avoid the rain in Adelaide. Weighing up whether to hold him or not myself and move on Dev Smith instead.

That's my gut feel as well.
Doc not being even mentioned on the CFC medical report makes me think he'll play.
Probably the most confident in Simpkin playing.
Honestly most concerned about Williams given his (and the GWS medical reporting) history
