Trades Round 17 Trades

Likely no trades this week. Potentially CCJ to someone if he plays to avoid losing his value.

But with 5 trades and no rookies/mid pricers on the field, keen to sit for a few weeks and just cover any injuries which arise. If scope for luxury trades at the end, I'll be looking to bring in any of Bont, Mills and Zorko.

Yeh, I've liked what I've seen too but 2 weeks isn't enough of a size sample for me to be sure he'll be 80/20 for the remainder of the year because every time it's looked like it's on the cards (a perma-midfield move) it hasn't eventuated. If it does though, he'll be in consideration for a Rd1 spot.

i agree with you. I have traded him in as i am ranked 1200 and want top 1000 and i feel like its a big POD from Marshall. With the new coach now is the time, The cynic in me also thinks Collingwood want to showcase him as he might be up for a trade next year

After coming into rank 68 and having 6 trades, I almost feel like I have to have a crack at the top 11, after deciding to focus on league and a potential $600 windfall. (our league also gives $600 for the highest rank $$)

Thinking:

CCJ → Edwards/Reeves if not Marshall for potential cover.

Heeney 70pts → Marshall 90pts? (128K left)
Or
Taranto 103 → Parish/Bont/Lyons 128 (50k)
Or
Daniel 87 → Mills 111 (128K left)


The forward line is my biggest problem, but I can get a potential bigger points differential from the mids. Leaves me with issues for future injury upgrades though.

Ok, so I can't turn Daniher into Danger with 1 trade by 1300 dollars but I can turn him into Marshall and then afford to upgrade Allir to Stewart. Leaves 40k in the bank and 4 trades, Helmut probably my worst player at D6. Worth doing it? Ta.

88, 70, 115 and 114 in the last month. 26, 15, 32 and 32 disposals. Kicking goals too.

This is the player we all thought we were getting at pick 5. In this role he should easily go 95+ uninjured. Annoying too because this is the JDG I should’ve been getting from Rd 1, but noooooo.

So Jezza needs to be traded, burning these injury trades already. Thanks to AB for talking me out of trading Neale last week, that's one saved.

Annoyingly I am $2k short of Jezza to Marshall. I can do Madden/CCJ to Marshall/Chugg (to maintain the dpp with briggs). Would then deal with Jezza next week.

Or straight swap Jezza to someone crap like Kennedy or Thomas. Could make the last upgrade difficult then though, with funds getting tight. Could take a risk on JDG. How has it come to this...........?

In your position mate I’d be trading Cameron as he has the highest price
Weightman can cover for ccj
Bianco/Newcombe are fine cover for A week or two if Cripps is even out. Yes it looked bad but he played the game out. Don’t think if it was season ending that they would’ve let him back on

so with 10.8k I’d take the punt on de goey
Best role at that price or matt kennedy who also is playing inside. If Cripps truly is out then kennedy will be the major benefactor.
I’m hoping it’s Dow but if I had the money you have id be getting de goey instead

The games collingwood are playing don’t mean anything so it’s relatively bruise free footy. De goey will go 90+ from here imo
Teams aren’t going to tag or worry about him so he’ll get easy points
