Seriously, can someone name something decent that he's done recently? A scalp of some sort? A shut down job on some dangerous player? Added a bit of hardness maybe? Brennan was one of our best against the swans! I didn't watch the crows game, i was doing something more productive... Possibly making a sandwhich or cleaning my room.

i am pretty sure i said he hasnt been bad. but at same time he hasnt been outstanding. he has very much been encouraging. but he has to displace someone. and clearly match committee think he hasnt done that yet. unless you think your judgment is better than theirs?

i agree everything with regard to mcginnity being dropped. he is shite. but they dont compete for same spot henceforth one cant be dropped for other.

If McGinnity is meeting all of the MCs benchmark I would humbly suggest they increase expectations.

Although he's still a chance to be a late withdrawla, he's named at this point so we've got to assume he's playing.

We are getting beaten in the midfield because we lack midfield rotations, we already have enough defenders, that is why brennan is out but I would like another mid on the bench because neither adam or mcginnity are efffective in the midfield this year, we basically have 2 shutdown defenders on the bench, what is th use of that, I have been banging on about mcginnity for a couple of months so it is not reactionary to our losses, but the mix is not right, we need more mids in the side, versatility is the key.

yeah we have a few shut down defendors and the opposition team still regularly get 1 or 2 mids who smash us.either they arent playing that role at all or not doing it very well.If mcginnity isnt playing a shut down role he is of absolutely no value

How many times will McInnes be picked without playing do you think?

We need to play him soon as Kennedy is no certainty and if we loose a KP forward in finals our structure up forward is rooted. We can't rob our back half of Schofield and Mitch Brown forward simply hasn't worked.

He needs to be given at least three games exposure at the top level including a game at the MCG v the Hawks simply to add to our depth for options up forward.

Brennan out and McGinnty remaining is dissappointing, IMO Brennan will force McGinnity out of the side within the next 12 months, he is just as quick, just as hard but kicks better. We should develop Brennan as a run with outside mid to take on the Hills (Freo), Thomas and Lewis Jetta type wingers.

Lets not get carried away here peeps. I know we would all like to see a decent pansting and not the steaming pile of .... our team has dished up in recent weeks but this game is tighter then it looks. Much tighter.
