AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
I knew I just needed to hear someone other than myself say it. Will leave me with Hurn Yeo and Gaff in the team but that is probably a good problem to have. I was also thinking about hoping to Grundy through Stef but problem just silly at this point in the seasonGrundy/Hurn. Just checked Hurn's scores and he has been consistent over the last month and has a nice run of home games coming up. I think he will only be around 10 pts less than Lloyd per week from here. Grundy still probably 15-20 pts better than Stef. Last week was an anomaly for Grundy, it was the week I brought him in which explained why he got his lowest score in the past 50 games and failed to ton up after going 100+ for months this year. I expect him to put that behind him and finish the year strongly, he's too good to be cursed that badly by me.
Tossing up these mids, do I have them in the right order?
1. Beams
2. Cripps
3. Oliver
4. Shuey
I'm getting Buddy in for Sicily. Stuff it.
I'd have Oliver ahead of Crippa. I reckon it will get to a point where Cripps loses some motivation for this season whereas Oliver and Melb will be fighting for finals. Oliver has been really good recently as well, has flown under the radar so much. I'm sure he will be in a lot of teams in the future, seems destined to be a dreamteam star.Tossing up these mids, do I have them in the right order?

I wouldn’t want to be relying on the bombers to win! Using that logic I’d say Hurn safest choice.Tuohy - has 4 games at Cattery left
Or
Hurley - good when Bombers win - reasonable run home
Or
Hurn - good at home - 3/6 at home plus away to Brisbane
?
I reckon trading in Cripps is asking for disappointment. Not because he won't average 120 but because he's the sort of player Carlton would put on ice, especially with talk in the media about his heavy workload.
Or I'm talking out my ass. Just something to think about.

Somewhat of a fools errand to try and predict Luke Parker's score. He has 6 scores under 75 from 16 games. From a "premo" mid, that's nice and trash. Having said that, de Goey doesn't mind scoring 60s/70s. And while I have Danger in my forward line, and it's nice to look at it (especially given his 150 last week), he too is prone to serving up a 70. Gaff meanwhile has only gone under 90 twice this year (both in the 80s - lowest of 82). He's as safe an option as you can get and with a good ceiling. He's scored as many 120s as Parker has scored under 75. It's hard to recommend who to go, especially with Danger going well last round and Parker playing Gold Coast in Sydney, but of those choices I would suggest going with the safe option; get Gaff, he won't let you down (while the other three all could) and deal with de Goey next week if possible. Apologies in advance if you do and parker/danger both go 120+So which combo likely scores higher?
1.Gaff/de Goey
2.Danger/ de Goey
3.Parker/Danger.

I’m actually rethinking my trades.
What combo has the highest likelihood of scoring the most this week?
1.Trade Parker to Gaff, keep de Goey.
2.Trade Parker to Danger, keep de Goey.
3.Keep Parker, trade de Goey to Danger.
So which combo likely scores higher?
1.Gaff/de Goey
2.Danger/ de Goey
3.Parker/Danger.
Keeping in mind that Parker plays Gold Coast and would be traded to Gaff/Macrae next week if I kept him.
Callum Sinclair has got a tiny head compared to the rest of his body.
Hard to trust a guy that has to wear customized hats. How the hell do I factor this into my trade plans ???
