Gotta wonder WTF he is watching? So much out of touch commentary last night from BT and the other guy, ridiculously one-eyed, I thought I was watching a Crows home game!

BT shouldn't be allowed to commentate Collingwood games, even Eddie wouldn't be as biased towards the Pies if he was calling their games.

We actually have quite a decent contingent of Saints fans out here

I'm on that line and gave up trying to get home 2 years ago, I now drive into Clifton Hill or closer then train, Getting home last night we had 3 Mernda trains before 1 Hurstbridge line train, then 1/2 of the Hursty trains terminate at Greensborough making us wait even longer to get home.
This is good info… hoping to move out that way in the next couple of years.

Jack Higgins goal is basically disqualified from GOTY because of the commentary - the AFL won't want to be replaying it at the ceremony with a bloke questioning if it was even legit.
If Ablett Sr's drop of the century still gets played and acknowledged in all its un controlled glory, Higgins goal will be fine ;)

If we maintain good form, who would make way for Dow in the midfield? Also, who takes Wood's role- Pou maybe, but he would really need to lift his running game.
We have wing options for Wood…Hill, Henry, Byrnes or Wilson…by the time Dow is ready, Jones could be out injured again.
Clark could be a handy addition when he’s back in a couple of weeks

It’s nice after a big win and we are all happy saying how great the kids are.

But… we look great when the ball is in constant motion and we have speed on the game.

My concern is that The first 2 weeks have shown, that if the game becomes a grind - we really struggle.

So far, I think only GWS can take us in an open game. But there would be a number of sides who would get on top in a very contested slow maul/scrimmage game at current.

I think if we can stay on top of the midfield battle, I’m not as worried - scores from turnover seems to be an issue first two rounds, and confident Enright will get things moving with a shuffled back line

SEN has a sync option, turn off that fat Collingwood loving slug BT and listen to the SEN commentary.

I was listening to SEN stadium (close to no latency when you’re at the match) and I was sitting right behind where Higgo kicked that GOTY contender, I stood up before anyone else in my area seemed to, in hope, and watched it sail threw the goals as Higgo collapsed. Absolutely glorious as the pies MCC fans starting storming out all hoity toighty - thankfully couldn’t hear BT’s yapping.

Also, if anyone wants to make a super cut of Windy’s game last night I’ll give you a badge*

Is the fox post match stuff worth a watch?

Normally look forward to the media after a win like that but I'm almost certain the narrative on the review shows like the couch etc will be about what went wrong in Collingwoods first month
Yes. What could be better than watching our boys embarrass Naicos?

More than a year down the track, and I still have no idea why Carlton delisted Stocker.

I know he doesn’t get heaps of it, and when he does he’s pretty conservative when choosing an option, but he’s strong, clean, cool under pressure and tough as they come.

Carlton delisting him makes absolutely no sense, but boy I’m glad they did.
His tank was shite with us. Did some nice things and was always tough as nails but was a liability in transition.

Most fans were a bit shocked at the delisting at the time but some more receptive ones went through and highlighted his laziness on defense in a few key games and moments etc.

Needed a kick up the bum is all imo and glad to see him doing well at the Saints.

Dow is a whole different story. He could clearly play but wasn't going to get games ahead of Cripps so his opportunities were limited.

ST KILDA will be without spearhead Max King for next week’s clash against Essendon, with the 23-year-old picking up a one-match suspension for rough conduct in Thursday’s nights emphatic victory over Collingwood.

King collided with Magpie Finlay Macrae during the fourth quarter of the Saints' 15-point win over the reigning premiers, with the Match Review Officer grading the high contact as medium impact and careless conduct.

Vision from the match provided by the AFL shows King’s raised forearm catching Macrae above the neck just after Macrae disposed of the ball.

So ****ing stupid. Trust King to miss a game for something stupid

It's at least consistant with Head=Week.

When he got to the Saints he was last in the running in his first preseason.
After Christmas he was in the middle of the pack.
I am sure he learned very quickly that you don't get a game in a Ross Lyon team if you aren't fit and running all day.
Kudos to him, as you say a kick up the bum and he has come good.
We lost Billings and Acres who are playing better at Melbourne and Carlton, this happens to every club.

Wood going straight into surgery. I guess it's ok to be anesthetised straight after a concussion?
Anesthetizing a concussed patient happens loads in trauma surgery eg. car accident/horse fall
In private healthcare, if the surgeon wants the case done the anaesthetist will generally just do what they're told

Good start by Sandy with the breeze (was 5 goals to zip, but then Pies got going with the last two). 2 for Hammer and missed a sitter.
Caminiti should be reminded ththat he might be in next week if Max still stays suspended fir the 1 match.
