Agree . Nothing to see here apparently. Move on. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it deserved scrutiny. Imagine it was Sicily dishing it out!Any talk on here of Blake Acres (if that's his name) being rubbed for falling on Watson's head with his elbow in the first quarter. Absolute dog act.
The real benefit when the talls are back are the connection they will have with the smalls. I will have a lot more confidence in our ability to bring the ball to ground for our smalls when these blokes rare back on the team.
There were some lowlights from BT last night, including "Oh boy! Connor's ankle getting a full workout there, the whooooole range of motion!"
It's a potentially serious injury Brian, it's not a banananana from the boundary.
edit: the fox commentary also featured the hilarious moment where David "could've-coached-if-I'd-wanted-to" King interpolated "Time to get Sicily out of the forward line, he's having no impact, gotta make the move to switch him back right now" - only to have Sicily take a huge contested mark and kick a goal about 45 seconds later.
He was 10x better Rd 1. He's a gunTDK on the bench for 10 minutes in the 4th quarter helped, he played his best game ever i reckon and he was stuck on the bench for 10 minutes lol

Great smother but I thought the Umpire would call for a balls up???that happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!
Most of the umpiring was a balls up!Great smother but I thought the Umpire would call for a balls up???![]()
From memory their first 5 scores came from free kicks inside 50 (4 goals and 1 behind). Almost unheard of.KARLton fans spitting chips over umpiring, on the radio. I thought that hawks got the wrong end of things, at the ground.
Replay will be interesting.
Sicily 100% would've got weeksAgree . Nothing to see here apparently. Move on. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it deserved scrutiny. Imagine it was Sicily dishing it out!
That's exactly my stance.Thou shall have faith - why not 6 - 0?

He would have been suspended on the spot and would have started serving his penalty mid game with a send offAgree . Nothing to see here apparently. Move on. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it deserved scrutiny. Imagine it was Sicily dishing it out!

Anyone who says "stripped of points" or "their score should have gone back to zero" is admitting they don't know that the rule has changed since 6-6-6 was introduced.Just saw the 19 on the ground thing. Really poor from our interchange team - they need to be alert to that and it was an umpiring error that saw us not punished further.
Outrage seems excessive though. It only occurred when players were resetting for the bounce, and 6-6-6 meant it was never impacting play. I reckon I've had about 4 Carlton supporters frothing at the mouth saying we should be stripped of points lol.
Browny: "Hawthorn has rorted 6-6-6..."Anyone who says "stripped of points" or "their score should have gone back to zero" is admitting they don't know that the rule has changed since 6-6-6 was introduced.
The mistake was made
It was caught immediately
The rules of the game were applied correctly
