The opposite.

Last week was wet-behind-the-ears greenhorn Josh Carr getting out over his skis.

Today was a pure Kenny Hinkley masterclass, taking back the reins and delivering in spades against such a spirited, imposing opponent.

And then you woke up.

Lots of goals from hitting targets on a lead. So much better than mindless long bombs to Dixon. Even our kick-ins were better, hitting targets in the corridor rather than the monotonous “kick it long to Dixon”.

19 marks inside 50 to 8. 14 frees to 20 LOL

We just won by [emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]+ points! If you can't get excited by that you can GO AND SUPPORT THE BLOODY TINGLES

I’d rather make love to a cheese grater.

Well it didn't appear to matter in that 4th quarter that our percentage was dogshit and needed fixing. But that's fitting with our 2025 theme: it doesn't matter. The usual boring shithouse cue in the rack shit under Ken.

Richards - 25 disposals but ordinary IMO. Some questionable decisions (1st quarter, snaps and misses from 25m rather than take the low difficulty set shot) and disposal is often untidy, putting teammates under pressure.
It wasn't a mark.

One of the worst decisions I saw from Richards was in the fourth quarter. Had the ball in the centre square and gives the handball to Rozee running past, but then just lets the Richmond player chasing Rozee go straight past him.

Give the handball and then shepard the chasing player, or piss off back to Victoria.

Looks like a nice footballer. He's absolutely not the type of player we needed though.

Looks like a winger to me too, dont think he solves any small forward problems long term.
I tend to agree. I think he could be better suited up the ground. Still remember Berry taking possession in the centre of the ground in the 2nd qtr, sprinting forward, and after seeing no options to his right he swivelled and hit a target with a nice 50 metre pass in the opposite half forward flank. He looked like an accomplished mid with that one play.

Yep, was a really good decision and execution. Screams wingman to me.

I’ll always enjoy a Port win but you can’t read anything into this one.

Nah I liked what I saw. Something different, Josh surely running 'the show' now. There was too much oomph to ignore

Sprinkles can stay in the dugout patting bums and sporting that trademark 'vacant' look, headset-less of course

Donuts doesn't need to advertise... he's obvious despite himself

Two hours after the game and the review thread is two and a half pages long lol. Back in the day we'd have had that within ten minutes of the end of the game. The most checked out fan base in the AFL by far.
Yep, very little to get excited about today. Just the inevitable Hinkley redemption arc after beating the worst team in the comp.

Donuts had a nice chat with Yze after the game too. That's kind of his wheelhouse now.

Still livid about the Houston trade and today didn’t help!
Lukosius off injured
Richards looked pretty average
Berry only a kid so I will excuse him
Atkins, well that’s just a bad joke.

Let it go man,Houston bailed and is now the enemy. Sick of hearing about it, it’s done. Kids look good, they’ll be around a lot longer than ol man Houston.

Think most here would agree that Houston trade was a disaster but Richards was quality today. Berry has shown plenty of signs that he will be a quality player
