B Kelly Macasey Brown
Ruck ROB B Crouch M Crouch
Inter

Replace Stengle (banned 4 games?) with Murphy (likely AFC pick).

There would be considerably more atmosphere and excitement at a preseason showdown in Port Pirie in front of 1,000 people than there will be at this in front of 0 people.

I wonder who's going to wave the scarves around during the INXS love ballad they play at the start of all their home games? Maybe Kochie and the 4 players on the bench will do it?
Get ready to cringe because I reckon they might

I would think so, and that's why it will never be on Channel 7.

It doesn't effect my enjoyment of the game, but having a game nation wide on 7 in front of a million people, with the hour lead in, the half time feature, the post match coverage would have to have a fairly big dollar value, especially if you get that every other week, as both a selling point to sponsors and potential supporters.
Look at it this way, less exposure for Port's sponsors

What's the oldest possible team we can select?

Excluding 0 game players

B Brown - Talia - Kelly
HB Mackay - Hartigan - Laird
C Smith - Sloane - Seedsman
HF Atkins - Walker - Lynch
F Knight - Frampton - Crocker

If we field the same 22 (which we can’t because Stengle) and they do as well the games played average:
Crows 93
Port 110

It’s not a massive difference but reflects they are a bit more advanced.

So the one Showdown this year is a Port home game with no spectators.

Jokes aside, shouldn't this be a shared game. I am guessing none of our sponsors will be shown it will be all Port.

Would be interested to know if Fagan and co tried.to get some.exposure for our sponsors.

Port can have a pregame "entertainment to celebrate their 150th year to appease their supporters. No problem with that.

But we really should be sharing the corporate exposure given games at AO.will be limited this year.

Maybe we can do our own tarps ? Sorry, i’ll Give myself a 24 ban for that one.

Must go out and win and narrowly lose every other game this season 🥳🥳

I’m very sure we’re not winning this one.

Port are a fair way ahead of us, will cook us easily.
We've been training in groups for longer

Should have an advantage

The second of many welcome losses for 2020.

All aboard the Pick 1 train.
We're going to get an absolute dream run from the umpires this season, I can feel it

Crows
Ins: unknown
Outs: Marty Mattner, Paul Thomas, most of the staff

Power
Ins: unknown
Outs: Scott Thompson, common decency, probably Robbie Gray?

We thought it would never come back!
We hoped it would kill off the shitty Vic clubs!
But here we are, round 2 of the season. We still didn't get the Friday night game because VFL, but hey!!

I'm not sure we're winning this one... I'll wait for the teams.

What do you think?
Pick 1 or 2. Come on down.

Brown Talia Doedee
Laird McAsey Milera
Seedsman Crouch Smith
Rob Crouch Sloane
McHenry Walker Lynch
Davis Fogarty Murphy
Atkins Kelly Jones Hamill

It's not bad on paper, it's just not what we were. Fully expect Mackay, Hartigan, Gibbs and Frampton to play though.
Might actually assist in getting that top 2 pick, whilst stalling development of our quality young players who will then ask for a trade home.

It's a bit confusing, looking at this its FTA into Melbourne metro and SA but no other states.

But it's also not showing the Thursday and Friday nights as 7 games here, so I think the website is messed up.

It's the channel 7 game.

Gold Coast v West Coast is the Foxtel game, but will be on 7 in Queensland and WA.
