Any Giants supporters planning on making an Easter Sunday Pilgrimage to Tassie?

I am heading down and hoping there will be others.
Could be a good chance for a win against a Kangaroos team that can be great one day terrible the next.

Bit difficult given that we'll be playing the hawks. Swans are playing Norf at Bruce Purser reserve.:)

My apologies, I thought the Easter Sunday reference may have been enough to indicate a match in April.

If only the spirit of Tasmania still did Sydney to Tassie....

The only away gamesi will get to are the first MCG game and maybe the Gold Coast away game.

There would be more incentive to travel to Tassie if there was a Tassie team.:eek:

I found this list on the AFL web site, it was dated Friday March 23rd.

Greater Western Sydney Giants*
Player Injury Estimated Return
Dean Brogan Back 1 week
Jon Patton Knee Indefinite
Luke Power Hamstring 1 week
Setanta O'hAilpin Thigh 1 Week
Tom Scully Cheekbone 1 Week

If all players with one week are available who is an automatic inclusion for round 2?
I'd suggest if MacDonald gets suspended then Scully would be in for him.
I think O'hAilpin is required to assist in the forward line

What do think the Tassie crowd will be like. Do you reckon they'll be more hostile to GWS given that they were given the 18th franchise over a Tasmanian team?

Hopefully there'll be some support given that Mohr is a local boy.

Majority of the crowd will be North supporters, we actually have a good fan base in Tas even before the club decided to play games down here.
It will be good to see the GWS up close should be a good match. :)
