Contemplating not even trading Red Bull out this week and giving Jordan a crack starting on my field.

Allows me to gauge the playing field for his replacement for another week. Assess LDU, Cerra and McGrath after dodging the Zilliams bullet.

2956 traded out Grundy and even more concerning is the 602 who have traded out Gawn.

If Warner scores more than Paddy Dowie I think i'll need to make that corrective trade.

No choice but to keep Cripps for now. Considered him an underpriced set-and-forget premium mid this season. As a result I took the punt on the Worpedo at M4. If he has another stinker i'll probably need to address it before price changes and leave the Cripple where he is.

Problem with Doch is, it's been eons since he was a premo. Saad is in there now. Weitering is looking like the general back there now. Missed last night's game, but even Newnes stole his points last week. Anyone know how many kick ins Doch took?

It wasn't many I think it would've been less than 5. He should still be good for a 90 average so I will keep him and he will probably end up my D6 he is currently D5 anyway.

Thoughts on last night:

Docherty: Regret trading him at the last moment before round 1 at the expense of Ridley. Bit of chatter about the 3 clangers, but it's the lack of contested possession that is also costing him points. Only 3 last night.

Dow: Has to go. Easy corrective trade next week. There are more bargain basement rookies this year than we thought there would be. Was hoping he would score better given a full uninterrupted preseason, but wasn't to be.

Zilliams: Don't own him but the second half last night should give owners hope. Got plenty of it, but team high 7 clangers and only 50% DE impacted his score significantly.

What to do with Rowell. Will wait until tomorrow to see how Gulden goes on the bench. if he scores well again, I'll throw the C on Rowell to get Grundy's VC score and hold him another week.

24 possies (17 & 7) and 9 marks at 87% D/E should have been 100+ if not for the 2 out of bounds on the full and being on the losing team. Carlton have not quite clicked yet, Docherty and Cripps 2 of the main culprits. I'd back them both to find their mojo's sooner than later though.

Doc hardly took any kick outs .... he looked to be playing as a tight defender on Pendleton when fwd, and Mihocek

My thinking as well .... CARL not connecting well as a team .. look more a group of individual players

That said, they have a lot of new players and the cohesion will come .... but any chance they could actually defend in the back half ? .... all attacking defenders, apart from Weitering
