Afaik Spencer is being managed back from his mid year injury.
The form of the others must suck so bad they can't crack SA's XI from interstate.

Mack Harvey couldn't even get into our second XI for the past 2 years

What has happened with Jake in the past seasons is that he will be picked for 2 - 3 shield games and wont make a run in them.

Then, on the cusp of being dropped, he will make a century in the next game and thus holds his place for the remaining games.

10 FC hundreds in 10 years somewhat confirms this theory.....
