He's done it to me b4 .....he has superb games, but in recent seasons he handballs more than kicks, impacting his scoring .....and he always coasts against the lower sides ....i'd suggest Port are a lower ranked side

He also tends to back end seasons. Can usually be picked up midseason for a fraction of his usual price before he dominates the end of the season.

I would never pick him from the start.

He made my team this year on the back of becoming captain and his points thief hanners preferring tofu over leather

Wasn't to trade this week .....agonised over sitting pat

But just in case i need two trades next week, injury, suspension, or on the bubble .....did Hannan for Eddy, 30 wasn't enough and he may well struggle to stay in the side ....plus Hannan plays Carlton this week (sorry Carlton supporters)

He had one score below 90 for the whole season last year, round one. 14 of his 21 games were tons. His price hardly ever dips as much as a Jelwood for example who can chuck in back to back 70 point games or Hanners who can chuck in the odd 60 and was available for around $520k odd at some stage last year. 4 out of the 5 last seasons have been 110+, he's one of the most reliable picks.

Yes being made Capt can change your view .......my guestimate is that Kennedy's ownership is much higher in 2017 than it was at the start of 2016 .....probably like you, on the back of getting the captaincy

48 hitouts .....20 to advantage .....so lets trade him out after tonning up

Just on that: If a hit-out to advantage is 5 points each & he had 20 of them... Gee, he got less than 10 points for everything else he did!?!?!?

WTF people are talking about trading Sandi out is beyond me

Cost 300 grand and a half eaten packet of stale twisties, then knocks out a ton 1st up

What do people expect

At least wait until he gets injured and has earned enough to bring in another injury prone ruckman

Did he actually do anything else?

Hibberd is a Def/Mid. So when I trade Smith out - it gives me the option of slotting Hibberd down back.

Similarly Pickett is a Mid/Forward - so when I slot Hibberd down back, Pickett comes into my mid.

Then it allows me to choose Hannan.

He's in my team right now lol so it can definitely be done.

Holy shit this may have just saved by backline. I knew you could do 1 substitution but the double has opened up a great move for me.

How is it wasting a trade when he'll 100% be the top scoring forward in 2017?
because its trading a premium who will finish in the top 6 forwards for a premium who will also finish in the top 6 aka a sideways trade

If he was so convinced Kennedy will be the top scoring forward he would of picked him to start with

I read Roo would be out for a week or 2 most and hense why I said it was a waste.

Took a risk at the start of season.

My defence read 1prem/1mid/4rooks

Left with 2k in the kitty.

Backfired, Smith proceeds to get injured in the first 20 mins. Chaos.

I'm actually thinking to downgrade my mid (Lloyd) to Zak Jones. Which gains me approx $150k and funds an upgrade of Hibberd or Otten to McGrath with $70-$80 left over.

I'll just pretend this season only comes with 28 trades.

I'll probably only do one corrective trade the week after, for Mitch Hannan.
