if you wanna do it then do it.
far better to make your own mistakes than someone elses.

also, his new alcohol free, vegan lifestyle concerns me greatly.
And that's got nothing to do with football either.:D

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you couldn't sub a player in between a trade,
Yes you can, the answers you seek are only back 2 or 4 pages.

Am thinking of 2 corrective trades.

Taranto > Hannan

Which gives me cash necessary for Smith > Marchbank.

Means I wouldn't have to worry about fielding one of Stewart/Otten, giving me a more stable DEF.

Thoughts?

I would do this trade next week. Marchbank sets your backline up without a lot of worries. Taranto is not needed with your current FWD rookies.

I WANNA TRADE HANNEBERY AND EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME NOT TO!

You're all just messing with my head. I'm onto you and it won't work. He was a premo, now he's a gimp and you all want to see me suffer by holding onto him. I KNOW YOUR GAME!

Maybe I'll keep him for one more week...
Do it. How's he ever going to go 110+ unless a few of us rage trade him out?

Had I known this pre-lockout, I wouldn't have picked Hannebery. That is not because I think it impacts his football ability in any way, but rather out of spite due to my love for meat, dairy and alcohol.

Vegans are a tad wierd as well, I'd rather crush beers with Hodgy.

after doing some research i think the vegan bit is just some bullshit i read on BF and repeated. the alcohol thing is legit though.

Vegan!?

Wouldn't have touched the prick if I knew that.

I hope he chokes on an activated almond soy bean faux steak.

sure it does. effectively fueling your body is extremely important for a pro athlete.
as is the ability to unwind and relax occasionally.
Joke Poopie, I just don't like/trust anyone who doesn't drink & eat meat.:D

Who's a better prospect out of WHE and McGrath?

I really would like to sure up my defence with McGrath, and get Hannan in to play in my forward line. So that makes McGrath a better choice based on my team structure.

Does mean I need to cut Taranto... Can see him still averaging 75 from here, and McGrath similar, so seems a bit pointless...

But playing 2 of Otten, Hampton, Stewart and Hibberd is going to bleed me points.

Trading Taranto > Hannan and Hibberd* > McGrath is my current thinking, and I think I'll roughly be 20-30 points better off for the next 7+ weeks, so might be worth it.

*Hibberd could be Pickett, Eddy, etc., basically whoever gets dropped.

Leaves me with the following side:

You have to give the premos a second crack, most times they come good. Dusty got a 50 in round 1 from memory turned out as expected top 2 or 3 forward for the year.

Dont have WHE or Butler so if they kill it will bring in Hannan a week early for JSmith otherwise no trades. Prefer to keep Smith for the loophole this week.

Thanks mate, Marchbank will help strengthen my backline given the lack of rookie output.

Only thing is if I wait a week on the trade and I'm faced with a long term injury like Smith, I will be forced to trade out the injured player, sacrificing the Marchbank and Hannan trade. That would mean I would miss out as Marchbank and Hannan would have risen in price by round 3.

No use waiting and seeing with Hannan either, as I need to downgrade Taranto to him (no other decent FWD rookies) in order to fund the trade of Smith > Marchbank.

Had to bring in Hanan for Smith like everybody else. Says Hanan will go up 97k first price movement .. I hope that is right!

You can.

For example:

Florent is in my forward line

When I click to trade Florent out, I get the following options appear on my FWD eligible players

Thank very muchly, only took me 4 years to get this

Although someone has probably explained it to me before when I was pissed

No trades unless 3 of Hampton, Otten, Hibberd, Stewart get dropped, then Newman, Melican, EVW.

Next week if Butler &/or Hannan score well & my other rooks don't. Then & Pickett, Hibberd or Barrett most likely to get the chop.

Or some shit like that anyway.

Hoping D Cameron gets a go, is my F8.

Not sure why you are so eager to trade. Rookies are known for massive scoring fluctuations - McGrath or Hannan could easily pump out 40 next week or Otten or Hibberd (if he survives) 80. Trades are worth money too. At least wait one more round.
