Trades Round 2 trades

Well the Nroo to WHE trade paid off big time. Better late than never!

I've kept taranto in at F6, traded Joel Smith to jobe Watson via dpp, and moved Jake Barrett to the bench. Pretty happy with that.

Historically, Gaff has had pretty decent disposal #'s against this weeks (StKilda) & next weeks opponents (Richmond)
Still a break even of 60 so now is the time for those thinking..

I'd have to trade out someone decent to get him so should really just look to fixing rookie cash cows.

Out of curiousity, does anyone know how the 'Projected Scores' for each player is actually calculated? They are always so inaccurate!

I heard it is the old throw 3 darts at a dart board method.
You multiply the first number by the second number then subtract the third number.
Seems about right to me.

Probably current average x 5 game average x 3 game average x average against that opposition x average at that ground, divided by 5
+ the weather if a day game, minus the weather if night game.

I've done Kennedy to Hannan.

Tossing up between:

Greene to Powell Pepper or Clayton Oliver (via pickett)

or

Mills to McGrath.

Thoughts?

My team for reference:
(this is with mcrath and hannan traded in. only 3k in bank before those trades)

Kennedy still a chance to play this week with Jon Patton in doubt.

Thanks for the tip but Hannan is a must surely. You have to be growing your team at this point.
I think I'll go the McGrath route for a similar reason.
Out of curiosity what trades would you make in my situation?

That's if Hannan even plays...

I would not do Greene to SPP. Greene has the Suns this week and he should hit back (like the whole GWS team should) with a bang.

Mills was a bit disappointing last week (Zac Jones the better option out of the two IMO) so that trade to McGrath looks better to me.

Why wouldn't Hannan play? Had a great game last week.

Jones will likely be filling the hole left by Rampe in defence so can't see either of them being too reliable as options.

Melbourne's ins. I expect Hannan to play though. Their bench should end up being Tyson, Kent, ANB and Hannan. I can't see Kennedy or Harmes coming in for Hannan and Spencer only plays if Gawn is out.

I'm quite confident on Hannan based on what I've read. To me that's a no brainer.

Id like to take the punt on Mills but McGrath looks the better option to grow team value. I actually think it will be Lloyd who will go back. Jones looks set to stay in midfield - very happy I picked him.

So I'm thinking Kennedy to Hannan and mills to McGrath.

Is he a confirmed out?
Yeah he was mate,

I've gone and been very boring this week:

I've kept Mitch Hibberd for now, Smith won't be back for a while and even if Eddy comes back into Port's line-up he's got a pretty poor scoring ability so Hibberd stays for being the best of a bad lot. Newman and Miles will start on my bench but here's hoping they can perform better than Smith and Eddy had.

Round 2 is such a hard week to trade, I'm really against trading a player who's named because you start with someone for a reason so why would you get off them based off one game. Trading rookies for rookies allows me to stick to my guns on who I'd started with.
