Yeah he was mate,

I've gone and been very boring this week:

I've kept Mitch Hibberd for now, Smith won't be back for a while and even if Eddy comes back into Port's line-up he's got a pretty poor scoring ability so Hibberd stays for being the best of a bad lot. Newman and Miles will start on my bench but here's hoping they can perform better than Smith and Eddy had.

Round 2 is such a hard week to trade, I'm really against trading a player who's named because you start with someone for a reason so why would you get off them based off one game. Trading rookies for rookies allows me to stick to my guns on who I'd started with.

played rookie raffle here too... WHE in for Kennedy and Newman in for GHS via dpp Hibberd.
I'm putting Newman on the field over Otten & Stewart... bit of a dice roll though.

Well now that Hibberd and Eddy both dropped keeping my DNP rook and hoping they get named over Hibberd (next w/e) and trading Hibberd to Newman instead of DNP rook -> Newman. :/

Pray for some decent rookies people!

Hawks look to be throwing names at the magnet board, a poor showing might see him out again next week.
the Crows are wanting badly to shake the Hawk monkey off their back. the Dees play Carlton

Must admit this is making me look at Hannan. Plus his BE is good.

Well you're so far so good with WHE. You could combine the score of a lot of the rookies who played last week and they wouldn't have totalled WHE's score last week.
Do i bring in Hannan or punt on miles?
I'm going with Miles, Hannan played really well last week but it's just one match. Hannan averaged 11 disposals a game in the VFL last year, hard to see him all of a sudden becoming a big possession getter in the AFL.

This is why I have the dilemma. Hannan has such a low BE and plays Carlton so that's why I'm leaning that way.

who are you thinking?

JOM out for McGrath, generates cash for next week once the dust on the rookies starts to settle... Otherwise I'm swapping Eddy for Miles or Hibberd for ???? Just not enough kids playing at the minute and playing well..

I kept JOM - will McGrath back up his debut... I think the Bombers caught the Hawks napping.

I can make an argument for JOM improving and not improving this week, but the Bombers have Brisbane and then Carlton......

Lions did well against the Crows in the last pre-season game

Brisbane have clearly improved and are playing with greater purpose than they have in recent years, but they still make mistakes and aren't bigger bodies yet (across the whole field). Against a full strength Swans and then Adelaide (for example) I wouldn't be so optimistic on McGrath..... But Lions and Blues aren't the same opposition (with all respect)

Zac zones has a higher price growth potential than laid. Laid can go up like what 30k? I dnt expect him to be pulling in more 140s. I expect 90-110 points. With zac jones I expect 80-100 points. So its not that much of a big difference.

Jones can go up like 200k. And I need to get rid of my rookies asap. I got 2157 but my rookies ie (cam mccarthy) let me down

So did you go through with this?
