nothing more than a bunch of lazy unfit players who still cant defend and until that changes, we will be a very average club...!!!

What is it with these late season fall outs. Is it a mental issue, a fitness issue, both or what?

Combination of everything

But when you have leaders who DON'T KNOW HOW TO WIN it doesn't push the group to higher standards, abilities, performance, consistencies and responsibilities

Need to bring in some players and assistant coaches that know what it takes win a final, let alone a premiership.

Get Hodgey in as a consultant - did wonders for the Lions

Brett Kirk or Nigel Lappin as a development coach

Everyone could see it coming, I just cannot understand why the next wave of players weren't brought in to try and fix it. Lack of pace - Davey, lack of grunt - Hobbs, backline struggling - Hayes. 'Not being ready' doesn't really cut it, when the same olds keep letting you down.

and please please just retire Dyson **** me I would rather play one short than have him. surely he realises that all he is doing is hurting the club... sick and tired of him getting picked..!!!

It’s not the kicking even, every Saints player is literally on their own.
Watch the game live and the ground and you’ll see that there’s absolutely zero structure at all on defence. 18 players running around doing their on thing, head down jogging back, either trying to run or just worrying about their own man. Zero accountability, zero communication, zero leadership.

What's the end goal with Heppell? He's not the sole reason for our performance but definitely in terms of culture/belief within our system are we just going to keep accepting him as a part of it regardless of how old or slow he gets?

The conversation has to come at some point just pull the bandaid now and do it. The knock-on effect will then extend to some others that need to be tapped on the shoulder or traded as well. Heppell needs to be the first brick to fall.

Yes. Yes we are. It's the Essington way.
