ST KILDA

This was an utter smashing, and not to disrespect the Saints at all, but it shows how far off the Eagles are.
The Saints outplayed the Eagles in every facet, and kept them to only two goals after half-time.
The first eight goals of the game were direct result of turnovers, which shows you what a shocking game this was.
Membrey was lethal up forward, finishing with 5 goals while Mason Wood ended up with 3.4 from 19 touches.
Whilst it wasn't fun viewing, it kept Mrs Sledge happy.

ESSENDON

I genuinely don't even know what to say anymore.
Another year, another pathetic capitulation after the bye.
It's past a joke at this point.

We are fast approaching the point where I stop caring for the year, due to utterly shitting the bed. Every single year.

Maybe a win here will spark my interest somewhat.

I'm not counting on it.

St Kilda by 22.

I think its a loss unfortunately. There will be a silver lining though because I think we'll see some debuts in the weeks following. A win today will delay what needs to happen

Why is exceeding expectations for the year not good enough for you?
One school of thought is that when you put yourself in a position to challenge for a premiership you can win one.

It’s as if the players felt they’d done enough to get extended contracts and so now have completely taken the foot off the gas to continue the run of mediocrity. May as well book for Colorado now.

doubt it, keep with what works, and if it doesn't work? keep on sticking with it until it works

Not that I’m looking at the ladder predictor or anything but if we lose this we’re close to pretty much done huh?

Fire up boys…

Just watching the veterans bounce warm up and twice we ran it with Shiel receiving on the right side heading towards the boundary which would have put the kick landing 70 meters out on the boundary.
Hope it was a decoy play just in case the Saints where watching.
