Chin up. We’re playing well below our best while the bombres are playing out of their skin and yet we’re only down by 9… Bombres will choke…

Same situation as last week, a team has lifted cause they're playing us. We're just going to have to keep at it for longer. Most concerning right now is we're seeing just how good Nat Fyfe is at centre square work making space for Serong. Lotta lessons coming out of today. Still confident we'll be better for longer.

If Erasmus wants to watch Essendon players run around but not do anything about it, he should buy a ticket and go watch from the stands.

Doesn’t look like a player desperate for a spot.

Apparently he's playing well

He's watching Caldwell run the ball out

2x non-calls resulted in goals for them.
Free kick out the middle that wasn't there.

Umpire carry.

Our mids can't possibly play worse, so we've got improvement to come.

Lets see if they can go with us for the whole 4 quarters.

One of the worst quarters of footy I’ve seen from this team this year. We are lucky to only be 9 points down

Midfield losing every clearance, defence is constantly one step behind their opponents

Unforced turnovers galore. Chapman missed kick, Darcy dropped mark, Banfield running too far, all under no pressure

We seem to be outnumbered at every contest, which is a workrate thing

Every time we kick a goal we concede one straight out of the middle 10 seconds later

I know we get better as the game goes on but these slow starts have been a problem for at least 2 years now. We can’t do this in finals.

Young is our only player who can be proud of his performance so far

Midfield getting reemed ... not chasing once the contest is lost is embarrassing. Need to pull the finger out.

Good news ... forward line starting to look like they can keep us in games even when we're getting reamed.

Not sure about that, we're doing a bit better than that. A few moments that have turned the margin in their favour.

We gotta even up and then dominate the centre, that's the one thing that's well down so far.

They're running hard - I'd argue they won't go at that level the whole game. We look like we have another level to be honest (hope I'm right). They've also had the rub of the green.

If we get a 4 goal run I think they break (mentally weak - been galvanised by the leading up, but some of that will seep in).

Got to fix up the clearances, we do that and we'll smash them, we don't and we'll be in strife.

Edit: Just saw the pressure numbers, apparently they aren't.
